To be clear, I like the Fox Men, but I'd like to see some movies that LOOK more like the 90's comics and the X-Men animated series. Disney may or may not go that route, and if they don't and do something modern instead, I'll be disappointed. Either way, it's not every day that two different companies get to play with a franchise, so I'm interested to see what the MCU X Men look like after 17 years of black costumes, lots of silver colors, a focus on Xavier, tall Logan, and Magneto in some good/great movies.

I don't think they'll be rebooting the X-Verse.

Why not? Deadpool was not in the same universe as the rest of the fox films, fox said this a while ago.
minimal character usage already. The movie had a helicarrrier in it. Its easy to fold that existing movie into the greater MCU.

This works in Deadpool’s favor. He’ll be all over it when the recast Wolverine, too. Nothing but easy material. I actually would love for Hugh Jackman to show up in a Deadpool sequel now.
