yeah I don't mean anyone in here but a lot of people act like Frozen was the second coming. and a lot of people gave crap to tangled and brave (braved was really hated for some reason)

Frozen is not terrible or anything but just overrated.

100% agree. Frozen is good but there's a ton of stuff just from Disney alone that blows Frozen away. Anybody I meet that even mentions frozen is great I just go directly the opposite and tell em it sucks just to get their blood pressure up. I'm sick of Frozen. All of Pixar and How to train your dragon 1 & 2 blow frozen away for example IMHO

DID you guys not feel the intense power of the song Let it go? The sheer glory of that song after so much she's been through is very moving. I tear up everytime........ ugh!!!

Holy shoot for a second I thought you were serious and was about to unleash ... Glad I read your last words lol

Took the kids to see this this afternoon. We thoroughly enjoyed it. Baymax is a very endearing character. A lot of it reminded me of The Incredibles though at its core it's a very tender story about emotional healing and not so much a straight up superhero flick. I teared up a couple times but there are tons of laughs and some truly spectacular 3D flying and action sequences. I highly recommend it.

Thought it was a great kids show, daughter loved it and I'd definitely recommend it.
As for Frozen popping up, honestly it was good but it wasn't worth all the hype that everyone is giving it. Prob just me but I'm not a big fan of constant singing during a movie, if you ask me it's filler and nothing more. This movie was way way better than Frozen on all fronts.

Toy Story
A Bug's Life
Toy Story 2
Monster's Inc.

Tangled
Wreck-It Ralph
Frozen
Big Hero 6

I'm surprised that I actually think Disney's first four CG movies are actually stronger than Pixar's (though Monster's Inc is one of my all-time faves.) And yes I know that John Lasseter was involved with both groups of movies.

Funny, Monsters is the only one of those Pixar movies that doesn't beat out all the newer ones that you mention in my mind. I haven't seen Hero yet, though. Every one of these was good in its way, though I thought Tangled was pretty weak overall.

No Chicken Little or Bolt?

Oh wow, I hadn't considered those. In my mind Disney kicked things off with Tangled. Okay forget the "first four" then because Pixar obviously blew those away. :lol

I was gonna say, but you beat me to it.

Though they aren't Disney's first attempt in computer animation, they certainly are on a solid streak. Tangled was good, but nowhere near as good as Ralph or Frozen, but I'm glad to see them putting out such great films.

Man, you thought Monster's Inc and Tangled were weak and rank A Bug's Life highly? I'm guessing you'll hate Big Hero 6. :lol

EDIT: My four year old boy looked at the screen as I was typing and asked me who was riding the robot horse. Ha ha, if you look at my sig a certain way it almost looks like a bionic horse galloping down the street.

Metacritic and Rotten Tomatoes rank all of those pretty similarly (with Tangled being lowest on both). It can't be critical consensus you are talking about, so what's the connection between Monster's and Tangled specifically vs. Bug's Life that suggests I should hate Big Hero?
