Disney's BIG HERO 6

Metacritic and Rotten Tomatoes rank all of those pretty similarly (with Tangled being lowest on both). It can't be critical consensus you are talking about, so what's the connection between Monster's and Tangled specifically vs. Bug's Life that suggests I should hate Big Hero?

I wasn't going by reviews I was going by the fact that I rank Tangled and Monster's Inc very highly and Bug's Life toward the bottom and you apparently do the opposite. Since I though Big Hero 6 was great I figure that means you won't. Just don't expect it to be the new "Incredibles." It has superhero trappings but that isn't what the movie is really about.

Ah, well we'll see. The plan is that we're going to see this one on Friday. Trailers didn't do too much for me, but one thing I appreciate about Disney is that they don't feel the need to beat you over the head with the progression of the plot and all the major jokes, etc. in the trailers, so you are a bit in the dark about what you're going to be seeing going in. Seems like with most of the live action comic films you can essentially plot out the whole movie in your mind just watching a few commercials.

Yeah Disney's trailers are great at not giving away too much. In fact some of the most overplayed moments in the trailer (armor popping off Baymax, him kicking the soccer ball across the floor) aren't even in the final movie.

Hell I didn't even know who/what Baymax WAS and the purpose for which he was made until I actually saw the movie.

Same here and LOVED IT! Probably my favorite movie of the year. Very touching and fun! Loved the characters and score too. Classic.

Just saw this, it's freaking awesome. I was totally surprised by this movie, the trailer showed next to nothing about this film. I had no idea this was an actual team movie and every character was awesome, I would be down for some figures of this movie, a 1/6 baymax would be pretty sweet.

Yep. Wall E was another one where the trailers did nothing for me and then I was blown away when I saw it.

Most hero movies we agree on, I think its all the other non CBM(non important stuff) movies. If I recall you're a FF13 part 3 or 4 kinda guy and I'm team Zombie Jason.

Actually I don't care for any slasher movies so I'm not really on any incarnation's "team."

I love this film. One of the best animated, but I also enjoyed Book of Life.

Does it? I have it as well but it says 2 disc, so I figure it will be 2D and digital copy
