Statue Display suggestions for a couple Marvel collections

Hi, I've been collecting Marvel for a while and I've has a shelf from iKEA I've been using to display my Ironman armors and Avengers pieces:

I also bought some light strips that are kind of a pain to wire properly and some sports memorabilia clear cubes to elevate the pieces in spots.

I've always been a fan of custom dioramas, both simple and elaborate, and I'm looking for some direction as to how I could use a couple levels of this shelf to really make them pop.

I'm going to be finishing the ArtFX+ Avengers NOW collection, I have several IM/IP armors and busts, and other pieces like Thanos and soon, Ultron.

--acrylic backgrounds I can stick to black shelf pieces
--custom ideas for Tony Stark's Hall of Armor/Avengers Mansion/Battle scene
--simple LED lighting or are the iKEA strips what people use? I see some that are so tucked away they look perfect, my wires won't stay out of the way.
