Yes Sir! I've just bought my first PF which happens to be LURTZ reg edition and am just waiting to get it in the mail. From all the great feedback I've heard about the PF line then Sideshow needs to complete the Fellowship with these 3 Main characters. We don't need another 1/6 incident.:banghead

:drink I'll drink to that!

And congrats on the Lurtz pick up. He looks amazing, hope he arrives 'unspoiled'.

No doubt some of the PF's can go togther quite nicely but these are in essence, stand alone pieces. These statues are already big enough as is, and I don't think the addition space required for them to interact in pairs as 1/4 scale diorama's is going to appeal to most people. We have the dio. line for that very reason and at 1/9 scale some of those are already as big as I would ever want them to be. :google

Granted but I would have loved to have seen them go the Marvel route making the bases able to go together or "interlock". Hulk is a standalone piece, as is Thing, Abomination, Hulkbuster but their bases are made in such a way that they can all interact with one another if you have space. Especially with the Hobbits I'd wanted to see them do something that you could display them together with Gimli if he ever gets done I'd want him to display with Legolas but maybe I'm in the minority.

I like the idea of some continuity with bases as well, but I think that the nature of the pedestals somewhat limits that with the LOTR line.

Some of the figures look nice together though, if unintentionally, like Frodo and Legolas (and soon Gandalf), or Aragorn and Lurtz.

I really hope that Merry and Pippin either have a similar base for display purposes or come together when they are made as PF's!

I think there is just something about the PF's that can keep the eye on the figure and not the base so much which means they can display as part of a 'grouping' or stand alone. The Hobbits will be a great addition to this range and will fit it with most of the other characters as their low key appearance is what makes their appearance so appealing!!!

Not sure how old this is or if I already voted no, I could do without Merry and Pippin, but we NEED Gimli I dont even feel right displaying Legolas without him. A well done Sam would be an instabuy. And I'd rather see Eomer before Boromir... (slinks away)
