In a perfect world, yes, that would be great. But in the world we live in, that only means people selling their T-800's will be paid VERY well soon if they haven't been already. A couple months ago, when I started my Endo hunt, $200 was the average price, We're just about at the $300+ range at the moment and it's only gonna get higher.

Yes this is very true ...................

:monkey3

it would only make sense for them to do it if they released a fully chrome version. Ofcourse that would piss off a lot of people.

I would be happy ofcourse since I missed it the first time.

Its only a matter of time until the T800 will be worked into T5 or T6 - it will happen!

As for current T800 owners, i cant see how you could gripe legitimally as yours will still be 'original' and will hold their value.

what's all this talk about re-releasing this figure cuz of demand? that isnt how the collectibles world works. if it were true then they would have released a version 2 hicks ages ago. they said they would never re-release the 3 gun version. they gave you the t-700 which is the same mold but without the guns. it's exactly what they meant. so no more T-800's.

They have categorically stated they will not rerelease the 3 gun set T800 but have not ruled out releasing a T800 again. My argument is that the T800 will feature in T5 or T6 so how can they NOT release a T800 inconjunction with those films.

yes but all you'll get is a t-800 with no guns. thats exactly what the t-700 is. it has been re-released. go preorder it everybody.

Exactly. HT have never supplied to us fans even though we've given the demand...so what are we using as refernce exactly???

But true IF a T-800 endo does come I dont think it will be till T5 or T6 when they are bound to play a bigger part in the movie...and a big enough window will have passed by then bringing along with it a bigger demand and hype.

If folks want the T-800 endo now, they should just re-paint the T-700 and buy a loose plasma-rifle for it - I imagine lots of pepole will at least do this part anyway so be prepared for the prices to soar on eBay for the rifles.

I'd be more than willing to supply painted recasts of the Plasma Rifles when the time comes.
No worries.

Are you sure now the T-700 is just a repaint? It looks abit ruff like its been sculpted onto there.

Looks like a textured paint application only. Note how the panel lines/details are semi-filled/soft due to the finish being so thick.

It's textured, definitely isn't just paint, you can see the sharp mold lines next to the texture.

I still think it is textured paint only (it looks like a very thick application, possibly stippled, not on all parts), but until someone actually finds out through HT or by stripping the paint off their own, we will not know for sure. Another easy way to tell is to compare two of them side by side when they come out. Unless they are 100% identical in every nook and cranny of the finish, it is just paint.

If HT actually added texture to the steel molds (permanently modifying them), the original issue endo's will skyrocket even more in value.

Dude, that's not just paint. It's textured.
The difference in color is due to the blackwash. (easy to do with textured figs)

You misunderstand my point, that is not what I am talking about. Let me clarify.

I am talking about the actual texture, highlighted further with paint. You can get that base texture from an application of a thick medium/paint over the raw base part and then paint over the applied texture to highlight the detail. A lot cheaper than modifying a steel mold to add texture to the parts in the injecting process.

Like I said, we'll see when they come out. If every single one has literally identical texture patterns, it will be due to the molds. If not, it is an applied texture after the parts left the mold.

You can't say for sure looking at pics.

It's textured. Caused as T-4 diorama was being displayed at HT offical retail shop and I get to see part of this T-700 Endo. No doubt.
