i have 1 BD and 2 normal versions. Personally i think they will reissue them with a new packaging.

I think they'll reissue as well, but probably not with Salvation. I suspect they will have enough new material for this movie, but they may drag out the t800 for later movies.

My thoughts too especially as the T-700 looks almost identical to the T-800 anyway. If HT do release the T-800 again it wont be until Terminator 6 (2013) when they are bound to have more screen-time and be the main terminators. Also by that time enough denamd (and hype) will have built up around them.

I bet they reissue a retooled version. Fix and mistakes they might have made with the first one. Just like they did with Batman Begins Batman. Sure there were a few upset that now they had a less valuable and crappier looking figure, but I think most were pelased by the rerelease.

That said, now might be a good time to dump your Endos. I've got a waiting list in the WTB section for people wanting to buy these guys! So if anyone can help us out, please do!

That HT dude in his blog stated that from the Salvation series there would only be the T600 and T-700..

In my head. It would be a smart move by HT.
No, it wouldnt be a smart move for HT seeing at the T-700 looks identical pretty much to the T-800 plus there's the already T-700 dio which also looks like the T-800.

It wouldnt make sense to release 3 more very similar looking products after first TWO T-800s have been out:

The T-700 dio,
The T-700 fig
A new T-800 (which looks just like the T-700 anyway)
The ltd ed BD endo
The polished original endo

Sure Rambo and Batman, Joker are released multiple times but they at least had MAJOR differnces.

But HT's newsletter said more stuff was coming.
Yes, but why do you think that necessarily means the T-800? They could easily have meant, Conner, Marcus and other humans etc.

Quote from Tommy's Blog, "only T-600 and T-700 would be release and "3 guns set" version of T-800 shall no longer available...."

The above quote is from this thread: https://www.sideshowcollectors.com/forums/showthread.php?t=49142&highlight=guns+version&page=5

Read it like this outloud, "ONLY T-600 and T-700 would be release and "3 guns set" version of T-800 shall no longer available...." And he means "3 guns set" version as opposed to "BD Arnie version".

I would never take anything with that kind of broken English as fact, it can be interpreted multiple ways.

They could easily have a "4 guns set" version of the T-800, using something from the movie we haven't seen yet.

Plus if you took that at face value, they already are breaking their word with the diorama.

Any yet people are still asking for the T-800 to be re-released, hence this very thread. The market is there. People who missed it before will see the movie and want the classic exoskeleton.

In a perfect world, yes, that would be great. But in the world we live in, that only means people selling their T-800's will be paid VERY well soon if they haven't been already. A couple months ago, when I started my Endo hunt, $200 was the average price, We're just about at the $300+ range at the moment and it's only gonna get higher.
