Definitely a departure from the classic look, and much more humanoid, but I like them, especially the one with the fiery hair (reminds me a bit too much of Hellstrom though). If/When he comes back, I wouldn't mind seeing some of these used to some extent, although the "Battle Armor" look from the books is a must IMO.

I love those designs, but perhaps they didn't want to go too "goth" with it. I think they should use them for Nightmare for DS2.

Yeah, DS1 was obviously more lighthearted, and didn't really tackle any occult elements. Derrickson said that if DS2 happens, he's probably gonna tackle Nightmare. And there's still the possibillity of Dormammu returning with a more human form (considering Kaecilius got turned into a Mindless One, he could assume his form, and we can have Mikelsen back if he's interested). There's potential, but they do need to go down the rabbit hole next time.
