Gallifrey Base has some neat new smilies that I think Dave should add here:

New clarifications on known spoiler rumors:

Sounds good to me. I have been wanting the interior to reflect something more classic.

More spoilery rumors:

Ahem...some spoilery stuff before i disappear, here's what I'm hearing....

think

...flash backs to gallifreyan war rooms at the height of the time war at the start of the penultimate story with the time lords resurrecting the Master to send him in vs the Daleks

- James Bond as the President of the Time Lords

....the sound of drums being a way for the time lords to keep track of their secret weapon who they send in vs the Dalek emperor

.... the time lords doing a time hop, skip and a jump when the signal goes dead...can you guess why the signal goes dead...does the title of a recent Killers track come to mind? ;)

... that if a wife has any common sense she will want to keep her eye on her husband, particularly if she's from something beginning with 'G', she has been asked her to do so and her husband's the Master ;)

- that hand being Mrs Master

-the regeneration occuring just outside the TARDIS while it is dematerialising causing it to crash and be destroyed.

That's all folks. Don't PM me. i'm off to play with some polar bears :p Oh and hello to the Sun if you're reading this :p

Unfortunately the TARDIS having two levels would lend credence to the 3.75" scale revision for the figure line, since they would never be able to do a playset at the current scale. :(

Just a heads up, WhoNA.com currently has Planet of the Dead on pre-order for a July 28 release date. $20 shipped for the Blu Ray - got mine in already :lol

Yea, a poster in the forums said he would hold out for a specials box set and they say "The way they are releasing the DVD (along with a Blu-Ray release), I wouldn't hold my breath for a "box set."

That would suck for Nu-Who figure collectors but I don't suppose it'll make any difference to the Classics line as it'll likely get dropped once the remaining FPI exclusives are done.

I got an e-mail from Amazon today informing me that The War Games DVD has shipped. I think I'm gonna watch it 2 parts at a time over 5 days as it'd be a bit much watching all 10 at once!

NONO! :thwak

We must get 7 and 8. :lecture

Perhaps I didn't word that quite right. What I mean is that the remaining Doctors plus a couple of others like the Special Weapons Dalek are long known to have been sculpted so I'm thinking that they'll be released through FPI in the coming months and once those are done Character Options will use the poor economy as an excuse for the line's demise.

I really hope I'm wrong but given CO's dubious commitment to the Classics so far I wouldn't be at all suprised if this is what'll happen.

i'm damn curious to see the tonner figure. i know i know. but if the sculpt is decent you can always send it for a repaint.
