Still,

Fantastic Episode, Dark cave was creepy, Dying statues even creepier
Loved the Doctor trying to mimic the tradis noise:rotfl

Yeah that was funny, I also liked how the Doctor said "come on Pond" at one point as it made me think of how Hartnell used to refer to Ian as "Chesterton" :)

What a great episode, bcm it looks like River will be around for a while, but im interested in her story, i was afraid she was going to be a wife or grilfreind but when that soldier/bishop stopped her and told her to make sure the doctor doesnt find out who she really is she said "dont worry i have no intention of going back to prison" which sets a very exciting story up, bring on next week :D

That does open up an intresting possibility, what annoyed me was how she initially seemed to treat the Doctor like a bit of a doormat.

No doubt the theories of who she really is will appear at the fansites in due course.

She already has been killed off. :lol

yeah I was about to say "What, again?"
:lol:rotfl
Anyway.. I still suspect she WILL be his wife at some point but who knows, like he says things can be changed.

I've always suspected that shes someone who learned the truth about him and was TRYING to make contact with him, using his diaries as reference. Sort of the ultimate stalker-fan :rotfl

Another possibility is that they are journals of hers with collected examples of his adventures but like she said "out of order".

Maybe shes his ex-wife :lol

I absolutely loved "The Time of Angels". This season just gets better and better!

I love the back and forth with River and The Doctor. There was a collective gasp in my living room when the "W" word was dropped. Since that's out in the open now, let the guessing begin on who she *really* is because what The Doctor and Amy believe her to be is just to easy. Then there's the thing the priest/army/whatever dude said about if he knew who she was he wouldn't be helping. I'm going mad thinking about this!!!! In a good way though! :lol

Here is my youngest boy with his Raggedy Doctor and TARDIS. :lol

I never watched her previous appearance as it aired during the run of 5 episodes from "The Doctor's Daughter" onwards where I stopped viewing for reasons which should be obvious ;)

EDIT,
If River was a prisoner somewhere, then it's likely she was the "Prisoner Zero" referred to in the first episode.

I thought they caught Prisoner Zero, and it was the thing with the teeth...

Oh yeah, that's right. Shows how memorable the storytelling style is in the modern show as I usually forget most of the details pretty quickly and have little desire to rewatch them.

Loved 'The Time Of Angels' :rock And Confidential was great; it was hilarious watching Matt jump out of time to everyone else :lol

I rewatched Victory of the Daleks, but I just can't bring myself to rewatch the other episodes...maybe that will change...

Also, I just found out that the Cyberleader is back in the finale!!! The proper one with the black handlebars!!! My favourite...

I've enjoyed watching the leads but there's still been nothing that makes me want to go back and watch them again.

Nice to hear that at least 1 Cybusman is in the finale, hopefully he'll get deleted by the returning ones from Mondas.

Loved yesterdays episode. 9/10 is my rating. I also watched City of Death for the first time in 17 years and I can remember why Tom Baker is still my favorite Doctor.

I'd give it 5/10 which if you consider most Nu-Who stories struggle to get 1/10 from me isn't bad.

"City of Death" on the other hand is definitely worthy of a 9/10, the scene where the Doctor says "What a wonderful butler, he's so violent" is the funniest in the show's entire run, Tom & Lalla are great throughout, the guy who played the hapless detective Duggan almost steals the show and Julian Glover is an excellent villain.

Judging by the blatant jealousy shown towards Douglas Adams in one of the features on the DVD it's clear that many Nu-Who writers ( including Steven Moffat ) wish they had his talent.

Douglas Adams was a satirical GENIUS. There is no doubt about that. The man was brilliant with talents far beyond most writers today. Not just Who writers.

He also knew a lot about scientific stuff so a lot of the gobbledegook that is common to Doctor Who had some grounding in reality in the stories he wrote, as well as the unsurpassable humor.

One rumor I've seen suggests he was working on a pitch to the BBC to bring Doctor Who back in the months before he died so had he lived the RTD era would possibly never have happened.

I think Steven Moffat is on the right track and his two leads are excellent but the show needs to further break away from the RTD format and either learn to slow down the pace of the one-offs or totally drop them because at present they are totally worthless.

Murray Gold also needs to be fired, preferably from a cannon for crimes against the Doctor Who theme.

As a personal wish, id love River Song to secretly be the Rani, having an antogonist female would shake things up a bit. But id like to see the doctor tackle her in another way than with the master than by simply forgiving him which was a little well, turd. She could be following him through time cataloging her enemy understanding the type of person he can be. I always expected The Master and the Docotr to be an epic Neo vs Smith esque showdown but that was miles away from that thought.
Now i dont want to sound harsh or even out of order because im really not, but i kind of hope Moffat lays of the running trend of most characters being sexually ambiguios. I feel it doesnt need to be said, i cant imagine a 10 year old giving a hoot which guy or gal is swinging.
