Was it ever explained WHAT happened to Amy's parents?
What if the crack took them? (I know, Amy still being there would create a paradox but THAT would/could explain it following her around.)

They looked into the crack and saw a future where their daughter became a whore who wanted to bang a 900 year old stranger. After seeing this, they ran off hoping to start a better life somewhere else.

:rotfl

Anyone else think it's funny how the series seems to be revolving around a giant crack?

I thought they fixed the giant glowing crack at the end of the first episode, but there it is again on episode 2 and 3! I'm excited though, every great show needs a cryptic "big bad" to solve or conquer. I can't wait to find out what it is.

so if a girl comes onto someone and fancies some action..... she's a whore? damn, you never been out to a nightclub? :lol

hey! everybody!!! the timeline MUST be changing.

bcm made me laugh! :hi5: :lol

Maybe someone can explain this to me,

River said she has pictures of all of the doctors faces. Does she have pictures of the Doctor from 1-9?

If so how did she get them

I think she does. And since she says *all* his faces I'm wondering...

Does she kill The Doctor? It was really played up that way in the last episode, but I forgot to mention it in my whining over whore-gate. :lol

Since she has pictures of *all* his faces, I'm wondering if she strikes the final blow to The Doctor. Of course, he can't die for good, then the show would end, but I think this opens the possibility of a pretty interesting "death" in the future.

The again, The Doctor makes a point in the episode to say that time is constantly in flux, so things can change.

I just hope River Song disappears after this series as she has the same kind of smugness about her that Romana II had.

If I were the Doctor I'd wipe that ____eating grin off her face with a brick and tell her to get lost.

City of Death? Only the best episode of all time and she is perfect in that one.

That would be about the only story I liked her in. I don't think she's as crap as certain modern companions but after Sarah Jane, Leela and Romana I she's kinda meh.

Amy had an aunt but what happened to her parents was never mentioned, i just assumed the had snuffed it.
River can only know 10-forward, maybe she falls through the crack and ends up killing the meta-crisis doctor...obviously i think bcm would find it the best episode seeing the last bit of tennant killed off lmao.

I like how you're thinking! :)

That was a brilliant episode, a right mix of comedy and suspense...Moffet is on the ball at the moment, actually think Vampires In Venice is my fave episode in a long time...

I thought this week's story had precisely 2 good bits,

1.The pre-credits sequence had the funniest moment in the entire revival ( The way the Doctor appeared )

2.The bit where the Doctor got in Rory's face and gave him a creepy look and said "I usually like the bit where they say it's bigger on the inside......say it".

That aside it was pretty forgettable, Rory appears to be Mickey 2.0 as he bumbled round serving no real purpose other than to make the Doctor appear "cool", the vampires were just an attempt to cash in on current pop culture trends and the ending was a textbook RTD "everything resolved instantly at the flick of a switch" job.

Matt Smith is a brilliant Doctor and deserves much, much better material than this.

NEXT!
