who?????????

You're not serious Nash?

Just in case you are, Doctor Who is a huge sci fi show in the UK and the longest running sci fi show ever, having been on the air more or less since 1962, it's about an alien who travels through time in a phone box with his human companion battling various different monsters every week.

But I'm thinking you knew that already.

Cards Inc in the UK have just started releasing mini busts from the series, the first one is the Cyberman, 10th Doctor and Slitheen coming soon:D

I DO need a 1/1 Dalek. And a working 1/1 Tardis now that I think about it.
And an authentic Tom Baker scarf (hey, I even have the hair to match)!

yea, I saw that earlier. It also looks like Weta is doing more polystone pieces for the next installment of Narnia (Prince Caspian).

It's a good time to back track and get the others, they are dirt cheap.

Althou, I won't be.

I WANT A MCGANN STEPPING OUT THE TARDIS.

MAKE IT SO WETA!!!!!!!

The only problem I can see with this is that they will price a lot of the core audience out.

Look at the prices of the Superman Returns stuff. It was astronomical.

Also, really, they need to have a firm UK base to sell this to the UK audience (the highest for Doctor Who) and they haven't yet got this. Will this change?

Who knows...

they have a UK warehouse like sideshow

I think the stuff might be pretty limited though

I was hoping for stand alone statues, like their LOTR line, so a statue of just the Tardis, just a Dalek, justthe Doctor, that sort of thing, but it'll be interesting to see anyway....1/6 scale is good, just the right size!

Just thought I'd put some pics up ahead of my review, very nice piece!

An excellent representation of a Dalek from a typically unoriginal Nu-Who episode that stole the ending from 1988's "Remembrance of the Daleks".

I also like the "Terror of the Autons" statue but I think Weta made a bad choice in the moment they tried to capture on the "Genesis of the Daleks" statue as it's hardly the best one to capture Tom's features.....they should have had him standing next to Davros.

I've been watching Who since I was a kid (and Tom Baker was the Doctor) and I think the new run of shows has been great. Eccleston, Tennant, and Smith have all been very good as the Doctor.

I loved the Ed Thomas Daleks design used during RTDs series. I was sorry to see Moffet retire the design in favor of the iDaleks.
