Does Hot Toys owe us to re-make the ALIENS Alien?

well Medicom has remade some like the alien and some anime characters that i know of.. but they've been around forever.
same for Hasbro 1/6 Star Wars.

It's been mentioned about the anniversary coming up which I wasn't aware of.
Now that Hot Toys is such a stronger company, I can see them re-doing the entire Aliens line, marines too, just because it would sell again if done in even better quality with actual (gasp) likenesses. It will be interesting to see what they do for the aniversary. Alien Queen finally?

well HT remade the batman begins outfit for the dark knight line
thought i don´t know if they made some changes to it.
one can hope they remade all of the aliens line, but it probably won´t happen

All this talk about the Aliens Alien falling apart is really scaring me. I have one on the way......maybe 2. I have the Predalien,AVP Alien, & the AVPR Alien & no real major issue with them....but I don't really pose my figures much either. Could the breaking be from excessive posing?

My Blue Alien leg is on it's second round of model glue, I can't move it at all or it will fall apart, and at that point it becomes a base for a marine figure.

No, mine broke from simply flexing the knee without any major changes of pose before that (i'd had it for about a week).
Also, there's been breakage issues straight from the box. It is a fragile figure.

They totoally give us an Aliens remake line, but as long as I have the Sideshow Aliens Warrior maquette, I don't really care if they do.

I think its clear they haven't changed their approach to the Alien so I don't care at this point. A remade Aliens Alien won't happen.

I realize this is about HOT TOYS, but at the same time the thread could also be very well about Sideshow and some of their licenses/products as well.

The Aliens warrior was one of my most anticipated figures, and ultimately the most dissapointing. I'm really not that bothered by the inaccuracies (which there are plenty) but the fact that w/o even posing it much the figure just started falling apart.

Now when ever he's moved the feet fall off, and then usually the right leg is not far behind. Easily the worst figure that I've bought in recent memory.

So I think HT should make a better version; but I don't think they will.

The good thing is that I can at least get mine to stay in a pose... so it does display well; just frustrates me knowing that it was so poorly made.

Yeah, but at least the mouth, teeth and head were done fairly well. It looks menacing unlike the Falien which looks like Mr Ed laughing.

I don't see why not, they'd make money on it, certainly, so why shouldn't they be interested in revisiting the line?

The Marines also don't really hold up to today's HT standards, they should redo the whole Aliens line imo.

I " paid through the nose for them " but hope they get remade still. I'll buy em all again if there done well enough.
