DOLLHOUSE Picked up for 2nd Season

Don't get me wrong, I love Dollhouse and am glad it got renewed, but... How does this get renewed and Firefly get canceled?

Were Firefly's ratings that much worse than this? Were episodes too costly? Was the TV climate just that different back when Firefly aired?

I don't mean to turn this into a Firefly vs Dollhouse thread, but if I wanted to get my Joss on and had to pick between the two, it would be Firefly every time.

Fox kind of screwed Firefly over more than Dollhouse--not playing the first episode, changing the days it was being shown and whatnot. I think they probably regretted it after seeing the DVD sales and that may be why they're giving Dollhouse a chance to do really well.

It's not all good. Sarah Connor and Life are gone. And Chuck has not been renewed yet. It's still sitting in limbo somewhere.

Sorry, but maybe a Bones lead in would work much better.
