Dolls or Action figures?

Eraserhead got a ****load of dandruff.

I always think of them (and if I'm discussing with a friend outside of the hobby) as 1:6 figures. I don't relate to calling them dolls though I'm not offended by the term, either. I don't think one or the other term is the superior or more mature way to think of them. I grew up with the Six Million Dollar Man Action Figure and that's how I've related to them ever since.

I can't believe people actually care what someone calls them. Do you enjoy collecting them? Then who gives a crap?

I ironically call them dolls to rob anyone from the opportunity of mocking my hobby, but I will cry in secret if anyone else calls them dolls.

I don't know, my main scale is 1/12 which are mostly happy meal toys, but that's now changing, those do count as action figures no? 1/6 always were glorified dolls to me, I only own 3 1/6, either way I think dolls is the simpler term, in English it's genderless so I don't see the issue, in Spanish it's either muñeca or muñeco, which stands for an articulated figure meant for play, and I count posing as "play", so yeah, they're dolls.

What about, action dolls? :naughty friends is the best name I've seen in this thread :lol

:rotfl:rotfl:rotfl I love this gif so much

Also, this thread is goat.

Dolls, toys, action figures, figurines, collectibles. I don't care what they are called.

But it is funny when peps get sand in their twats over the item they have being called something they don't like. Like one tags elevates them them to more than what they are. :lol

The tag used to belittle people who collect figures shouldn't be used by MEN who collect them. Ever. That's pretty much it. But what the hell do I know :dance
