Re: Dr. Doom LSF!

2000 is a lot of money for a statue, but at that price, I will pre- order. Anything more and I will have to pass. I can not see very many sold at more than 2000.00.

Do we know how many of this series sold per statue? I would be curious to know how well they sell at even the 2000.00.

Re: Dr. Doom LSF!

paying 2.5k for a open ES piece is pretty crazy.

It is crazy but if thats what it takes then i guess there are those who will gladly buy it. However, we could be jumping the gun on the price just a little. It may not even reach $2500 so we'll just have to wait and see next Thursday.

Mind you, after all the hulabaloo over Sideshows constant claims of low stock alerts every other week regarding the Wolverine LSF, when its clearly still showing stock, will make collectors think twice before ordering such such an expensive piece as the Doom LSF right away. It may be wise to bide your time on this one, possibly even wait for inhand pics before making your decision...

Then again, if you look at what happened with the Wolf Predator LSF, it has sold out already! So its all swings and roundabouts...thats the problem with these ES's - you never get a clear indication of how many Sideshow are planning to make :dunno

Re: Dr. Doom LSF!

Ultimately it shouldn't be that hard to collect. Buy what you like is a good philosophy, but having sound judgement about when to buy is part of being a good consumer.

Sideshow fails to see this with all the secret ES games.
