Dr. Doom LSF!

Hope the reveal pics next Thursday dont differ too much from what we've seen so far from the previous Comic Cons. I'd hate for them to start taking away some of the features like the extra faceplate, extra gauntlets, etc...with the Wolverine LSF there were of course plans to release the alternate head but that never materialised, so i hope Doom gets the all full out treatment!

BY THE WAY!!!!! Someone mentioned earlier about a possible light up feature in the palms of Doom. If you look closely at Dooms left palm in the pic below, looks like a possible light up repulsor!! :panic: :panic:

To think i was gonna turn this piece down :slap there's statues, then there is this!! :thud:

Possible light up feature????

95% chance so be it :wink1:

however i dont undesrtand why you people can accept $ 2000-2500 as normal price for this piece and 350 for a premium format

I know that is TWICE in size, but that does not justify accepting those prices, guys, I'm very seriously, you are greatly overestimate sideshow

I have been collecting over 6 years with great illusion, they made amazings jobs but make great pieces dont justify everything that all they made we have to accept as normal with those exorbitant prices,

i have to add that the sculpt job come from people(Tony cipriano,Trevor groove,Andy .B.Martin canale etc...) who dont have power over quality control or how their work arrive to customers

it´s my opinion :monkey1

$2500 would be far too much for this statue. I'm looking forward to seeing what they will price it at though.

Re: Dr. Doom LSF!

$2000 seems fair if there is no light up feature and the face won't have intrinsinc skin polystone as the human characters on the LSF line were supposed to have when the line was first announced.

See what I did there?

Re: Dr. Doom LSF!

No doubt this is a beast, I saw it in person at the con. But now I gotta admit the open ES kind of turn me off. We know he will be available for a LONGGGG time (wolf is the only exception due to its situation), and I just can't commit I won't sell him before Sideshow stop making it. I've been a collector long enough, I know I don't keep all my statues forever, I had to sell many statues due to many reasons: space, fund, change of interest, newer statues are better, etc.

My money will go to prime1 with their Megatron and Optimus.

Same here, also must save up for probably Prime1 Bumblebee.

Wolverine LSF is recently re-offered to international customers at price of PO, which probably means SS still have them at China and ready to ship.

Wait for the 'you're not a true collector if you even consider future value' BS brigade :lecture

Re: Dr. Doom LSF!

Sideshow has taken so long with announcing pre orders for this piece that the novalty has worn thin on a lot of people that first raved how badass this was. When I saw this back in 2011 I though dam I need to sell a Kidney to own it. But now I have already started to think nice piece but not as excited as before!

2500 for this would be a stupid move on sideshows part! I will only pay that amount if the base is made out of real stone and the armor is real metal lol. I think it will come in at 2k

I feel the same way about a lot of this year's SDCC reveals. When I first saw Apocalypse, Sinestro, and the Predator 2 maquette, they were must haves. Now I've had time to consider each of them and prioritize, and I don't think I will order any of them.
