Wonder if the release of this Doom LSF will have an effect on the holy grail that is the original Doom PF In some cases some have paid in excess of 2k just on the PF we may see an end to that now this is here...

So brings the dreaded question, which would you rather have when spending around 2k? The Doom LSF or the original Doom PF?

I say buy them both then there really isn't a dreaded question to answer (wouldn't spend 2k though)

Congrats James Did you order from SSC? The Doom LSF is on my hit list but wont be pulling the trigger just yet...no rush on this piece and i just cant afford a $400 hit with so many pieces arriving in thenext month or two...

i think its more than likely that we'll see a plastic material used for all Doom's armour and then chromed into a metal effect as you see in the pics, otherwise the weight issue wouldnt make sense as this would weigh far more than 35lbs I think the base will take most of the weight with this piece just like the Wolvie LSF

i don't know... people just expects more from expensive things, but anyways, i can't believe people were expecting real metal being shipped around... specially doom, which is 95% metal...
is like expecting real ROCKS from his pedestal... anyways.
I am not bothered about the price, but about the size... it will occupy a lot of space... but in the other hand, i don't want to skip this one out.
