Compared to the, so called, metallic paint shown on the IM MKII @ SDCC this is pretty good. Not in my opinion, no....
I'm still not impressed, honestly. The metallic paint finish is decent but very far from great, head made of plastic and lots of cloth. Thing I like the most so far is the scarred face sculpt. Overall okay, but not $2000 okay in my books, it's really lacking the fine details. Definitely an impressive piece for size, that's for sure, but it was well known since the beginning. Will look forward for other pics. Not trying to put down those who bought, compared to most of the other LSFs it's an home run and a bargain...
how do you come up with the head being made of plastic?
This turned out pretty nice...but $2k? I still don't think any of these are worth that kind of money....maybe the Mark III. But, it's certainly a good looking piece and if you can swing the hefty price tag, why not? I'd rather spend that on a couple XM pieces instead Congrats on those that got him though!
Somebody on facebook who got it said that.
You keeping yours then?
will have to really impress me to keep it. Bare in mind, I'm getting it for close to $1700 shipped, which is a damn good price. If it comes with any issues, it will go back with no second thoughts. If it comes in good condition and I still don't like it, I will try and trade it or sell it for cost locally. I was trying to pass my order on, but the retailer has been very difficult, so we will see......

because there are less than 1,000 in the world and the quality is on par.Well, people are willing to spend $3K on XM Mag, so for 2k on this doesn't seem too out there now

this is an open ES item that looks like you could find it on display in a blockbuster or hallmark store.
Not sure where you went to see this type of stuff at blockbuster and hallmark, must've been a rich area
