Who (Dragon/InArt/Asmus) is stepping in to create a 1:6 scale Isildur (with Narsil / Andúri) to face off against him?
Also is the head/helmet removable, and an extra ring hand can shatter(break apart)?

Mine arrived today, absolutely love it - very good figure and fairly good quality too.

As much as its great, I am toying with idea of tweaking the armour. Only thing is, I’m not quite sure how to tackle it. As in, making it look more metallic or shiny.

Any advice or recommendations?

Thanks in advance peeps.

I heard this is hard to pose due to joints? Is that just a QC issue? Anyone else have that problem

Great. He can be posed book accurate where he walks up and casually cuts the ring off the overthrown Sauron's finger after Elendil and Gil-Galad had already beat him.

Mine has a few weak joints, mainly the left elbow and both ankles. I put him on a blank stand because it tended to bend forward and now it looks great. I just plan to upgrade to a rocky base like other have done, that looks even better.

The Dark Lord has come!
Sauron the Deceiver, Gorthaur the Cruel, Annatar Lord of Gifts, Mairon the Great, Viceroy of Morgoth, Father of Werewolves, Captain of Angband, King of Men, Lord of the Earth, Bane of Numenor, Master of The Dark Tower, Necromancer of Mirkwood, The Nameless Shadow, The Great Eye, The Lord of the Rings!
Despair!

What an incredible figure, absolutely brilliant, completely exceeded all my expectations, really well made and honestly its begging to be the centrepiece of any Lord of The Rings collection, a brilliant rendition of my favourite villain in Literature and one of the most imposing villain designs in cinema. In my opinion the proportions are great in person and honestly the chainmail while not screen accurate is still well realised and I may keep it as is
He is a heavy boy so to be secure I would recommend a strong and heavy base if you can find one, I used this COOMODEL Hades figure base, which was ideal as not only does it weigh a tonne but also have a great lava-rock design.
Couldn't be happier with His Lordship, if you want a 1/6 Lord Sauron here he is.

Some pics comparing this Sauron figure to the old Weta Sauron statue.....
I think I actually prefer this figure overall...
The statue's legs are molded/detailed/painted better, but overall I think the figure has more presence, the helmet seems more accurate on the figure, I actually think the final proportions on the figure look more natural whereas the old statue's head and pauldrons are too big and legs too stubby, I think the figure's torso and mace looks better and is better detailed and I think the old statue is too dark and not metallic enough.
Also dare I say it, but in person I think I LIKE the longer and larger chainmail skirt on the figure compared to the old statue.....

Do you think Dragon Toy will provide people with replacement parts if something happens to be broken? Mine came with the arm peg broken out of the box. I could probably fix it, but it's still disappointing. I wish these were standard pegs etc. so I could buy them off Ebay or something. I already submitted to Gundamit to see what can be done, I'll keep ya'll posted how it turns out. I'm almost feeling like what was sent to me was a return or something because they received payment, but I didn't get it sent out until I emailed them asking where it was.

Gundamit/ShowZ is very good about getting replacement parts for buyers, if they are at all available. Doesn't mean that Dragon Toys will actually provide it, but at least Gundamit are good advocates on your behalf! It's one of the reasons I prefer to get items from them if I can. Hoping for the best for you.

Yeah, their site definitely shows how much thought they put into the shopping experience. Each section is so clear and easy to use, right down to the after care button. One of the easiest sites to use outside of Sideshow.

I'm crossing my fingers that Dragon Play aren't a fly-by-night company that will avoid any responsibility. I appreciate your comment :)
