My mistake. He IS not replaced by a character named Travis. He IS replaced by a new character named Weaver. Krillin's original place in DB will be given completely to the Weaver character. Although producers wouldn't confirm or deny a cameo.....so maybe we'll see him.

To correct the question, Piccolo is actually light green at the beginning of the film because of his old age and lack of sunlight for 2000 years. Piccolo will however, turn fully green when he wishes for youth toward the end of the film. The director (James Wong) wanted Piccolo's transformation to be bigger and more dramatic then it was in the anime

When the director feels the source material isn't adequate it can go one of two ways....best case scenario they improve it as we've seen a dozen times before...this case....I think we are getting a lump of crap

Looks pretty horrible. I am getting a kind of "Street Fighter" or "Mortal Kombat" vibe from it, actually.

My preference wouldn't be CGI, but guys in rubber suits with big, cartoon-accurate head pieces. Sort of like ninja turtles the movie. Would be funny to see a bunch of glorified football mascots running around, fighting each other, etc.

Is Piccolo so powerful because he is "the Mask"?

Mortal Kombat (the first one) was a much better film adaptation than Street Fighter. This certainly feels like Street Fighter...or maybe even GOD FORBID.....

Aww come on who does this James Wong think he is?
How can you make a Dramatic Transformation when Piccolo is a Namek and their Skin color is green anyway, this is the second case of the Scenario a Lump of Steaming Crap :banghead:banghead:banghead

My mate picked up a Uwe Boll movie yesterday when we were at a dvd shop and I jumped on him and threw it back on the shelf . :lol:lol

He was like " WTF !!?? ".
:lol:lol

Well he did give us a kick ass love scene in BloodRayne with a topless Kristanna Loken getting nailed hard against a jail cell so its difficult to hate him entirely....
