My thoughts exactly! I can't imagine them not making Piccolo green. He's Piccolo the Namekian. How could you not make him green?!?! And no antennae? Not that I'm shaming the movie by any means. I'll be one of the first to see it just because its Dragonball, but I do hope there's more to this than meets the eye. *keeps the faith*

I have to back solidsnake up on this one. Dragonball is indeed one of the greatest anime of all time. It's been out for decades in Japan and its fan base is still undeniable (just take a look at Dragonball merchandising over in Japan.) While it may not be AS big here in the states, it still has a strong following. Before I begin to judge anymore of the movie though, I'll have to wait and see it for myself. *keeps fingers crossed.* The mere fact that it's hitting the silver screen is enough for me to buy a ticket. (The fact that I'm a uber-Dragonball/-Z/-GT fan probably helps a little too. ) And not to mention James Marsters (ie. Buffy's Spike) is Piccolo.

I agree with your edit 100%. Dragonball is undeniably the MOST successful anime. In my opinion, it's definitely ONE OF the best as well, however the term "best" of course lies in the eye of viewer. Well put FQRizzo.
