Dragonball fans should recognize the giant monkey above as Goku in his "Oozaru" state; it's one of the bat^^^^ insane things about Dragonball and DBZ that has made it so endearing to fans around the world. Now, a picture has appeared of what could very well be Goku in his Oozaru state from the live-action DB movie.

A clever journalist might say that Fox's adaptation is "monkeying around" with the original anime. A bitter journalist might say that Fox has "thrown its poop" at the original, beloved cartoon series. I, however, say the live-action Dragonball movie has ^^^^ directly into the mouths of every single ^^^^ing DB fan in the world. Hit the jump to see the pic.

YOU.

HAVE GOT.

TO BE ^^^^ING KIDDING ME.

Why? Just...why? Why bother spending all that money on the Dragonball license if you weren't going to pay any ^^^^ing attention to the manga or the show? Why make changes that will not bring you any mass appeal, and only serve to piss off the fans? Why ^^^^ing bother including Goku's Oozaru form at all if you were going to make him look like an alien from the ^^^^ing '60s Star Trek series?

^^^^. Maybe this isn't real. Maybe it's something else entirely. But a movie that would arbitrarily change Piccolo's skin color from green to white—a change so unimportant as to be insane—could and wouldeasily change Goku's ape transformation into...this...^^^^ing nonsense.

I was disappointed with the trailer...no flying or wild and crazy moves. I know the early Dragon Ball was a lot of ground fighting and such but oh well.
