No although I do make an exception for some Batman 89 stuff so I have Batman and Joker and I'm seriously considering the Batmobile.
I do however have a fair amount of Japanese figures in 1:8 and 1:7, even a few 1:10 so that'd work too.

I am just not sure about the Batmobile. I know it looks cool but so did the Tron Motorcycle. In the end I was not happy with it at all. Maybe if the Batmobile goes on some crazy discount in future then I might think of getting it.

I'm a bit on the fence as well because of the QC nightmare but I LOVE Batman (89) and the batmobile from that movie is my favorite car of all time so I really want it. Plus the pics look outstanding!
I'm thinking worst case i could return it to SSC for a full refund.

But this plus Venom, Galactus and Boba Fett could make for an expensive month.:monkey2

Oh yes you are in the US so return would be convenient. Elsewhere in the world would be as good as half the price of the Batmobile for shipping it back.

All frames are up!! Might need a few minor tweaks but next is trim/molding, then the shelves themselves.

I calculate about 17-20 shelves for the edge sections and about 10 for the middles.

Looks good Mel. I know there is still time for it to be completed but have you thought about adding clear acrylic doors?

I had thought about it but my wife was not very much for it so I kind of dropped it. However I just brought up a good point that we have a puppy and that my stuff at ground level would be in danger (which I hadn't thought about) so she's warming up to the idea.

I need to talk to the guy to see if the wood needs to be reworked or what.

Love what you got going on Drak.

Thanks KB!:hi5:

It is actually a good thing to have so sort of cover. I am saying from my experience. Otherwise you do need to do regular dusting. But since you haven't planned it in advance like me when I was getting my custom shelving done, you can get custom acrylic inserts made like I did recently.

Just to give you an idea, above is the acrylic insert (5mm thickness) which I got it custom made for my shelves. It is much easier and doesn't need any design changes or screwing or drilling. Just slides in the slot.

That's not a bad idea at all!
The only issue I can see with that is that aside from price (possibly) my frames come with trimming/molding that come out 1-2" so it may not be possible :/

Son Goku (Dragon Ball) Master Stars Piece PVC Statue - Banpresto

Very impressed with this statue!!! Looks killer, great sculpt, great paint, face expression is awesome, nice size and incredible price. He's about 1:7 scale and retails for about $20-30 which is a steal for the size and quality.
The only criticism I can give him is that he's slightly front heavy but I've had him on my desk all day and he never tipped over.
Anyone who's a fan of the series needs to get this.
