Darth Malgus 1:4 PF Reg 180/1000 - Sideshow

Got this bad boy! Originally I wasn't sure I wanted him cause I don't have any Star Wars PF and at the time of PO I wasn't sure I wanted to get too many 1:4 statues. But after getting Jessica, Joker and some others I did a 180 and decided to get on the WL for the EX. Sadly it didn't convert but I didn't want to miss the opportunity so I grabbed the reg and I'm glad I did!
He is very well done, very menacing. I love the reg face and light-up is great, everything lights up! The robe is nicely done as well. Mine has a bit of wear on the base but very minor so I'm fine with it.

This is my gateway into SW PF and now I'm going to have to track down the previously released Sith. I want all old Sith remade with the new saber tech!!!

Haha thanks! I'm going to try my hardest to focus on Sith ones that way I limit the damage but I really wish they'd redo them with the new saber tech.

I love Malgus but I'm not sure I find him AS impressive as some other pieces I have like Arthas. But he's definitely very cool.

Darth Malgus is one of the main Sith Lords of the Old Republic and central to the SWTOR MMO. If you're curious you should check out the Deceived, Hope and Return trailers for the game. They are kick ***.

The Fierce Legend of Super Robots Figure U.F.O. Robot Grendizer (Manga Version) - Marmit

I finally got myself a Goldorak!! I've been wanting to get a representation of this character for years and was always debating getting the Soul of Chougokin but my issue with those is that they are very small and for a giant Robot/Mecha it never really seemed appropriate to me. I wanted something that was around 15" but not necessarily as big as a 24" Jumbo Figure. In comes this Marmit figure which stands at a very respectable 16"! Perfect.
There aren't many articulations, you can rotate the lower legs and forearms and you can move the arms up and down. That's about it but is doesn't bother me since I'm not into figures anyway, I just want to display him in all his glory!
The colors really pop too! Even though I only ever watched the anime I thought the anime version of the robot was too dark in statue form and this one was more flashy so I went with it and I'm very happy.
It's not flawless like we may expect from a SSC piece but $85 for 16" is a great deal in any case.
Very satisfied with my purchase and unless they release a crazy big SoC (for likely $1000+) this is the Grendizer for me.
