So if a company got the 8" figure rights, what's to stop a company like Hot Toys from getting the 12" license?

I'd suggest getting the fullset if you can guys.

The Rainman paintjob is worth the extra cash that you are shelling out for.

Besides, from what I get is that the reason why this set is more expensive compared to other releases due to the clothing itself being complicated and hard to make.

So Im guessing the clothing or clothing + head set would be more expensive than the usual sets you are thinking of, in terms of price range.
