Great looking replica from jazz as I would expect but you really can’t get away from the whole what were they thinking with so many of the designs?

Why not just design a ship that actually fits

I was thinking about it for a long time and finally pre-ordered it ! :)

I am happy I did, both for the item I will get & for the support to an EU Family business I have followed for years. And waiting for an hypothetical Hot Toys release ? I would not rely on their prototypes display...

It is bad that we are seeing their last product on Star Wars line, but if it does not make business sense this is completely understandable.

This looks really good, but I don’t know how I’d display it. I just got the landspeeder and I’d rather get the snowspeeder if I got something this large.

The prototype paintwork is very well done. With a few more tweaks, it could be phenomenal.

Painting has not been Jazzinc’s strongest suit, so I wonder how they’ll ensure they maintain this standard for the Jedi Starfighter, which I believe is their most complex paint job yet.

Very tempting, especially since it is supposedly their last Star Wars piece, but unable to find a slot for it in the budget.

Honestly, what it came down to me as well. I just hope one of these days eFX (or another) gets to a studio model one of the Jedi Starfighters.

I can't justify $2k+ right now.

For anyone who doesn't know yet, the Jedi Starfighter was cancelled by JazzInc. I'm gutted by this because it was one of my most sought after vehicles. I'm hoping they release the reasoning as to why it was cancelled. I'm guessing licensing issues?

After Christmas we got a few cancellations (which is normal each year as people spend more than they have) and that killed the project. The numbers were already very low. We just do not get the support. We got 25% of the orders compared to the people who voted YES when we started a poll on this. Then the cancellations after Christmas and that was it
We already lost a lot on many Star Wars projects. It’s just not viable. Yeah it’s a bummer but we lost on most star wars products anyway, meditation chamber, cargo hold extension, truscale death star, reys speeder. All lost on those. And yes everyone will get a full refund including nrd

I am really sad : that was to be my first Jazzinc product, and I put a lot effort to secure the money and space to get it...
I understand the reasons, but am really disappointed.

Do you think it is because of lack of interest in Star Wars now, the economy, the insane number of hot toys being released, or a combination?
I personally don’t have the space for anything that big, but if I did , I would have ordered.
Iness looking forward to seeing the finished piece.

I'm guessing they lost the license. Or just decided the license fee was too high.

Combination of all of that and the price. 2k is a lot for a collectible.

OT and PT still reign supreme in the collecting world but 2k is a lot of money to spend on a 1/6 collection vehicle. You could grab 4 AT-RTs or Dewbacks for that price.
