Looks really awesome Dane congrats buddy :hi5:

@ Marker, do you have a pic of your sculpt mate, the top of the head as you mention?

Two cool cats daddy-o

They basically just grab into that hole provided for them, they don't slide all the way into the hair, check out the closeup I posted a few pages back to see what I'm talking about. For the most part its the nose that holds them up but like I said, they also do grab into the holes just enough to provide some extra hold.

Ok, just got a reply from rainman, apparently there's 2 type of shades. Here's the instruction on how to make a quick fix, in case some of you got the same v2 type shades like mine:

Hi
because cast.. i can't make_ long leg.

I will show you picture.

I made No1 glasses.
may be your glasses is no2.

it is wide a little.

resin is weak to high temperature..
you need warm water.
and push glasses legs(only legs)

in hot water. for 3 or 5 second.

and make not_ wide for face size.
some_ time it would be widen because temperature.
than it would be_ no problem.
.

Nice marf. Congrats.

So anybody have any ideas on the sculpt I got? Or are they all unfinished?

wow~~~ good base for dude~~~~

Looks really awesome Dane congrats buddy :hi5:

Thanks, guys! :hi5: Can't stop staring at the Dude.

Where'd you get them papers Dane??

They are photoshop files that were given to me that I printed myself, anyone who would like them can PM me :duff

Hey guys, are there any tricks on putting on the shades?

Mines too short for some reason, the frame's ends barely reaches the hole on the hair.

I had the same problem man, it took some patience but I got them to stay on. The nose ends up doing most of the work :hi5:

Congrats again everyone who got a Dude, I can't stop playing around with him. That custom display case is very nice.

Just a quick crap video I made.

I just piddled around with my glasses for 1-2 mins and that was it sorted, like somebody said they just slot into the hair for extra support but mainly the nose is doing the work

Loving all these pics coming in!

Looking great guys.

Like already mentioned, that case is awesome. :)

I'm still confused by this. Dude has one hole pre-drilled inside his head while Tyler in that example has 2 (I know how bad that sounds). Was that a mistake on Tyler (which is one only one of them is circled in the pic)?

Position the screw in the hole then using your plyers just screw it in, you may have to apply some force to screw it in, I should imagine 5 really good turns with the plyers and that screw should be in and ready for the elastic!
