Also got an unpainted chest piece.

Well I am no artist buddy but I would think your chosen painter will happily cut that out and once painted you wouldnt even know

It is just part of the mold, all the painted heads would have been the same it is just rainman or DF have cut it out and painted

PS: glad you all like the case I had made. Thanks for the kind words!

It really is a cool case! Are you willing to make more? Is the Lebowski text printed on a sticker, or is there some etching happening here? It's hard to tell. I am interested in a case. You can share the info here if you like, or just PM me.

Thanks!

Pose like this and you don't even see the pull not that it bothers me but if it did perfect soloution :)

send a pm to Station. He's the one that did the case for me. the logo is etched into the plexi. He's a really good guy, super fast turn around and very good price.

here's the thread where I found him.

Position the screw in the hole then using your plyers just screw it in, you may have to apply some force to screw it in, I should imagine 5 really good turns with the plyers and that screw should be in and ready for the elastic!

the hole in the head i got was way too big for the screw, so I used an artists drill and made a new hole small enough for the hook. You might need to do the same thing.

Thanks buddy. Unfortunately just not working and I have no clue why, but the drill bit doesn't want to pierce through the resin. It's weird because I had no problem using a pen vise to create little hole on the feet (making it easier to crack) so I have no clue what gives.:banghead I'll keep trying (wishes I could afford a full set right now haha). *edit* I used a toothpick to test out the depth of the hole and it's deeper than the length of the screw. I guess I found out what the problem is. That and the screw on the bottom of the hook got bent to hell too from too much pressure with the plyers, but I'm 100% sure now that there's too much depth with the holes and the screw can't even reach the surface inside.

I'm going to put some 2 part epoxy glue that cures like plastic in the hole for less depth and try to straighten the screw and then try again....

Also, congrats ShortRound. :hi5:

That's exactly the problem I had with mine. My little pin drill thing did the trick though. Good luck getting it all sorted!

^Thanks man. Good news, my idea worked. I just inserted the screw while the epoxy was drying since it wasn't hitting the surface anyways and now it's fused in and the head works perfectly fine. I was seeing red for a while lol. Just got the arms on and the chest too. Feet are in and Dude is almost ready for display. My late father and I watched the movie several times so this figure has a lot of sentimental value to me. Thanks for making it Rainman. :)

Glad to hear it all worked out. And that's a nice story about you and your dad. Congrats.

Congrats to both of you guys for getting that sorted out, now let the enjoyment begin! :hi5:
