If sales indicate your product is a hit, it's sold out everywhere and despite QC claims is fetching ridiculously absurd prices on ebaY, why would you change a thing?

Again, the company didn't even deal with the issue until embarrassing pics were being spammed on their FB page. And then, they switched their page to company updates only and handled everything "hush hush," made customers jump through hoops, refused customers who bought from ebay (which excluded every US customer who didn't purchase it through DCD) and only allowed a single replacement regardless of whether or not you provided them with a receipt showing multiple purchases, and even those replacements leaked. HT was able to sweep it nicely under the carpet because overall, in the end, the figure was still a financial success.

It's believed that the only reason changes were even made to the DX02 is because the issues were leaked to DCD and they didn't want to lose the license. While admittedly that's speculation, it's highly probable.

If true, what a f-in disgusting company. HT doesn't deliver what people paid for and instead of fixing the problem with the product for everyone, they screw their customers over.

Edit: In short, the problem with the suit was probably caused by greed and the "solution" was handled in the same way.

Exactly! So before its to late and anyone is stuck with 240 dollar defect on their shelves... CANCEL. Those inside or even outside an exchange window get in touch with your vendor and press for an exception to be made being as though this is the same issue HT CLAIMED TO ADDRESS AND CLEARLY HASN'T.

its absolutely true. It happened before, and I dare say its happening again. Time to jump the band wagon. Trust me when I assure everyone here that there will always be a company that can beat HT. If they maintain this attitude, in time another company will definately leap frog that company's quality. HT is only at the top because they have top artist like Arnie Kim, Yulli, JC hong, KoJun, Joseph Tsang and a few more. Other than that their production team, CS, owner and business method is crap and they are only holding on by a thread. When the time comes these artists would start to explore new challenges and be offered by another rising company. If not there will always be other rising artists that are most probably better but undiscovered.

I'm heading over to the 1/4th scale. It's time for EB to shine. I hope Blitzway or someone else would come out with something too

mine are the same as well..its just not glossy on certain parts compared to the majority of the boot area. So when camera flash is shone on the boot you'd get that obvious matted look with some white stuff on the rims of the boot. Maybe i should polish those areas by dabbing some microfibre cloth on the oils on bat's abs and rubbing them on the boots

I have actually wondered about that. No doubt HT has top talents, and may be the artists have some equity ownership, but they don't seem to enjoy the same lavish lifestyle that the owner has.

So may be one day they will all wake up and realise that we are all Koreans, we are ambitious, we are driving the success of this company, why don't we all start a new company - called it Cool Toys - together, be our own boss and build our own legacy instead of working for Mr. Howard.

Happens in the business world all the time, and I would think it's only a matter of time.

Checked mine last night. It did have a little something under the belt, but I can't say for sure that it was oil. It seemed more like some leftover sticky residue from the clear piece covering the magnet on the inside of the belt...

I will check again in a few days to see if it is back, as I cleaned it pretty thoroughly this time.
