I doubt anything will change with this figure. The only (seemingly) widespread negative feeling it got was simply that it wasn't the BD figure we're all waiting for and even that uproar has calmed right down. I expect no backdrop and no changes to the headsculpt.

Nor do I. I think we're looking at the final production piece.

2nd flex on 1 August, then 1 more and it's mine.

Yeah, that was my main disappointment as well. I really thought that the DX T-800 was going to be the Battle Damaged. Oh well. Im getting this because its still too much awesome to pass up. Will get the BD version whenever HT decides to do it. Just sucks we have to wait so much longer now.

Yeah, it´s kinda sad. They´re so much possibilities with such a DX release.

But on the bright side, I see my move in 2 months into a new flat, many new figures being postponed, which means I can get them and DIRECTLY in my new collection room.

Something weird with the eyes...
Had the samefeeling with indy...
Probably the pers sys...
Dunno...

Possibly just the pupil and iris not being clearly enough defined from one another in the pics? I thought Indy was a shocker, and while these eyes look a little off to me, for me it's not in the fail league like Indy was. Though I do wonder why this figure needed PERS in the first place tbh.

I think it may have to do with the micro tiny gap between the pers eyes globes and the holes for the eyes sculpt... Dunno
just don't dig the bland look he has...

Still think Arnie T-800 is as much a good candidate for PERS as anyone else. Only the execution is a thing I would be concerned with.

Fantastic news! Like a lot of Freaks, I've long suspected/hoped/wished/prayed this was coming at some point ... but with Hot Toys it's always better to get some kind of confirmation!

Great to know the line is still steaming along! Now let's hope we'll be getting a proper Kyle Reese and a BD/Police Shootout T800 from T1!

But, QS002 is calling me out.

I'm no completist, and the Cyberdyne look isn't that much of a drawcard that I'd sell off my original for it. Plus this DX doesn't seem a step-up from the MMS at all - from the pics it seems to me that the sculpt is better in some places but worse in others. I too am hanging out 'til the BD version hits.

im very excited about this release i had to sell my arnold last year. and you guys are crazy i think this figure looks great especially with the leather jacket. i just wish they would hurry and make a battle damaged version.
