Re: Hot Toys - DX10 - Terminator 2 - DX T-800 Cyberdyne - Official Specs & Pics

I have no other scheduled figure on my HT list other than this one. If I choose not to pick it up it will be a looooong wait until my next desired purchase (Returns Penguin).
I am still on the fence with Predators Noland. Love the look of the figure and actor likeness. Just not so hot on shelling out $$$ for a cameo appearance. Iconic characters was my guideline for collecting HT’s. And Noland would be breaking it. Even though the actor is easily recognizable.
So I might end up with this DX, even though the excitement level is about at 50%. Is this wrong?

Yeh... Arnold wasn't that huge in T2... we just remember him being huge for some reason. HT's body is quite large... works for T1 but not for T2.

I think some good futzing and professional photography will bring your excitement up.

I'm sorry if this is a total noob question...

It is and you should be. :monkey1 :wink1:

"Futzing" - generally speaking - refers to adjusting the clothing of a figure (usually after stripping it down and re-dressing it) in such a way so that the fabric sits, folds and hangs in a way that looks more natural. It also refers to simply adjusting things like belts and buckles, boots, harnesses, whatever.

It's a big part of the hobby, really. Rarely does a figure live up to it's potential right out of the box. Ya gotta futz with 'em!

The only thing wrong is spending money on the Noland figure. Quite a forgettable character, in my opinion. But if you feel that highly about him, go for it.

My advice, if you already have the previously released T-800, keep that and pass on this one. Save enough funds and buy something that you know 100% you want without having any doubts.

The ubiquitous "delayed" announcement. :(
That's too bad. Was looking forward to in-hand pics soon.

Re: Hot Toys - DX10 - Terminator 2 - T-800 Cyberdyne - Official Specs & Pics

You knew it was inevitable. Hopefully it's only one of these 2 month delays.

Re: Hot Toys - DX10 - Terminator 2 - T-800 Cyberdyne - Official Specs & Pics

I have no problem with the delay. More time to find out if I need to cancel.

That's a good point.
Did you preorder from bbts or some other etailer without a NRD?

Re: Hot Toys - DX10 - Terminator 2 - T-800 Cyberdyne - Official Specs & Pics

Maybe the delay is to improve the figure, I sure hope so:pray: I to am not bothered by the delay ether, gives me more time to save up and from the looks of things I already have the best 1:6 T-2 T-800 anyway:wink1:

Re: Hot Toys - DX10 - Terminator 2 - T-800 Cyberdyne - Official Specs & Pics

Delayed to November per SSC.

Hot Toys have also confirmed this so November release in HK = December release in the states = January/February release in the UK
