Re: Hot Toys - DX10 - Terminator 2 - T-800 Cyberdyne - Official Specs & Pics

Androsi, you're shots are beautiful!

I purchased some new equipment this weekend (flash, stand, umbrella and wireless transmitter), and I took some test shots last night. I need to light it a bit softer, I guess. Your skintones look very true-to-life!

May I ask what you're shooting with?? Again, great pics!

Thanks for the positive words rubio.

I've been using 2 light sources with 5000K daylight CFL Bulbs and shaders.

Yours looks like they are on the right track but yeah too harsh right now with a strong glare. Might want to just try different bulbs and to mess around with the positioning of your light source(s)

Re: Hot Toys - DX10 - Terminator 2 - T-800 Cyberdyne - Official Specs & Pics

Has anyone had problems with their neck joint?

The extra body I got today from TA is weird. It sort of just sits in the neck. I can't explain it. Any time I go to put one of my heads on it, it just rotates around. It seems loose but I can't really check to see what's going on since the neck is covering it up. It wobbles around and just doesn't feel like my other ones.

I did notice on my full DX T-800 that the neck doesn't really articulate like previous versions (the MMS 117 and 136). I don't know if it's the thick neck, the head, or what but it seems like it's impossible to have the head/neck looking down.

Sounds like the joint ball on the inside is loose. Both of the ones I have are solid on the inside. One of my KP bodies had that problem, so I opened it up and fixed it by tightening the the plastic pieces holding it in place.

Re: Hot Toys - DX10 - Terminator 2 - T-800 Cyberdyne - Official Specs & Pics

Very little of the neck goes up into the head of the DX10 T-800 head, so tilting it up or down opens up a gap. I don't see the DX13 being any different.

The MMS T1 and T2's necks go into their heads a lot deeper and don't open to the point of opening up gaps when tilting up or down.

I seen that video yesterday, I was cringing as he was trying to balance it on the barrel, I thought he was gunna blow off his figures:horror I certianly hope that area is not populated, you never shoot guns up in the air like that, bullets could land anywhere:panic:

Such A dum fu_k:cuckoo:

Re: Hot Toys - DX10 - Terminator 2 - T-800 Cyberdyne - Official Specs & Pics

Gun safety was not observed that day.

Word, you can see at 2:37 a piece come close to the camera an may have hit the kid filming it as he stops talking abuptly and he can't seem to film strait:panic:

Re: Hot Toys - DX10 - Terminator 2 - T-800 Cyberdyne - Official Specs & Pics

I own 14 Acres all surrounded by woods and I live in the middle of it. If you listen you can hear the pellets falling in the woods.

If you watch my hand, I keep my finger out of the trigger guard until I'm ready to fire.

The reason for the rubber band was so gases coming out of the barrel before the shot wouldn't make any parts come off before it was hit by the shot.

That was my wife and not a kid and yes, we saw some pieces fall in front of the camera after we played it back, but the shot fell in the woods if you listen.

I was being safe and by the way, and I'm not a dumb ***K. I've seen a lot of people on YouTube do a lot worse or if you want to call it, dumber things.

We in the South run for our guns and read our bible when things get tough remember, I wanted to do something original.

Ahhhh so it was you:lol my guess its the head that the eyes would not look up if I remember correctly right? I'm glad you did it in no where land, alot of backyards look wooded but its usually not far from populated areas. I have no issues with guns as I own a few myself but this is not there intended use, they are not playthings and should be handled professionally and with care, which you were not doing By your comment that you were glad the barrel did'nt blow up:panic:

I'm not trying to start anything and really don't care that you shot your dolls head, but in the end what you did was dumb:lol

Re: Hot Toys - DX10 - Terminator 2 - T-800 Cyberdyne - Official Specs & Pics

Yes, I'm not too pretty a thing to look at am I, I've certainly gone downhill in the last two years.

And besides my owning the property all around me, the adjacent property is a posted hunting club that's hundreds of acres it’s posted "No Hunting" at this current time. As for shooting up in the air, people in our area do it all the time to try and keep the deers out of our gardens, swinging tin pans on sticks and scarecrows aren’t worth a darn, and deers can jump four foot fences from a stand still around here. Even the Cops know people do it and don’t care as long as you know at the angle you shoot the pellets will fall where there isn’t any populated areas.

I’m so deep in the woods it’s a wonder Big Foot isn’t knocking on my door every night. The UPS man want even drive down my driveway after it rains because he’s afraid to get stuck. The USPS made me put a mail box a quarter mile from my house because they want drive down my road; they claim not enough people live down it for it to be worth it for them.

I’m waiting now to see if anyone else can think of a more exciting or inventive way of destroying their defective SS pieces.

And I have had and passed Gun Safety classes.

Yes sir, you got me there:) I also remember the video you were talking about with the t-600 with 2 left feet, I was surprized how much that thing took, for a piece that seems fradgile it took a whole lotta abuse before getting run over:horror
