But there likely will be a BD. It just isn't this one. This is a situation similar to say the DX02 Batman. Same suit as the MMS release albeit resculpted and with new gadgets.

Yes they will most likely be a battle damaged version, almost for sure. Its really not worth complaining about this version anymore cause its coming out weather you want it to or not. Do you understand? You can't reason with it or bargain with it, they do not feel pity for you, or fear, it will not stop until its in your hands.

I don't get that casualty score, how can there be 0.0 of a casualty? It's either 1 or none, you can't have say 0.1 of a casualty. Same with T3, it was worse when his scan showed 0.00 casualties.

Cameron says on the dvd commentary that 0.1-0.2 casuality is if debris kills a ferret or a racoon, while 0.5 is when a stray bullet hits a high end pet like a Dalmatian or something.

On another note, my order for T2: Skynet Edition (Blu Ray) was delivered yesterday from Amazon, and I took the time to re-watch the movie last night. I can say in all honesty, that this head-sculpt doesn't look anything like Arnold. Disappointing, but I now understand where some of the more critical complaints of this figure are coming from.

i dont get posts like this. its like people here have gotten so spoiled. the head is PERFECT. it seems less blocky then the original head. those expecting absolute perfection = hopless case.

That's what I am thinking too. At least I am hoping. I really want a BD version. If some are really that upset with this one whether it be the head sculpt or the fact that it isn't enough to rebuy it because they own the first one and it looks better, well then skip this and wait to see if a BD version comes out later on.

The new head has some improvements over MMS117, but it also somehow has new flaws that weren't in MMS117.

While people argue scale making a difference in sculpt quality, I disagree because Yulli did 1/4 scale sculpts of portraits she did in 1/6 and the 1/6 look better. Same scale or not, NECA and Enterbay have produced T2 portraits more faithful to Arnie than HT and HT has done better portraits on other figures. Some comments are rediculous yes, but there is plenty of room for people to feel the T2 Arnie sculpts are not HT's best work.

Gotta say this is a huge Fail on Hot Toys part

No Battle Damage??

It's basically the same figure just updated and given some accessories

Head looks alright but kinda mid-stroke

The battle damage head is not included with this 1/6th scale T-800 DX version! It will come only with the 1/4 scale (for both Hot Toys and EB).

THIS SUCKS! I really wanted to buy this figure; but without the BD head...it's missing SOMETHING.
I wasn't even asking for a full BD head, but at least they should gave him some scratches on the face showing parts of his endoskull and they should have also made some holes in the jacket as a result of the gunshots!

I have a guess that Hot Toys will remake the figure as a battle damage edition (1/6th scale) a year or 2 from now!
Probably, it will look like Neca's Final Battle Damage figure; with a torn arm accessory and perhaps a light-up feature in one eye but with less weapons.

It would be nice, but this will leave me thinkin' which figure would be the best for me: the DX10 or the expected BD fig.!

So...is it perfect or is it imperfect? This comment suggests both.

The sculpt looks like a softer, prettier version of Arnold. In real life his cheekbones are bigger, bulkier, he has a more neanderthal look to him. Yuli flattened out his face and gave him an expression I don't remember ever seeing in T-2.
