Why do companies insist on gaming becoming multi-media devices with TV and all that other stuff

Because it sells to the casual and non-gaming crowd, which is a bigger demographic than core gamers these days.

Sony will probably dedicate like 20 min to that smash fighting game.

I see Sony showing the exact same tablet implementation as Xbox did. It won't be anywhere near as inclusive as Xbox Smartglass but it will be close.

Seriously though, the only game I could see buying was Dance Central 3 and that would be for the wife.

Me too, even my nephews (10 & 12) who both have 360's never use any of that extra crap, they use it for games and DVDs and thats it

I thought the South Park game and Halo 4 looked pretty good. I grade on a curve, keeping last year's conference in mind.

No surprises this year, unfortunately, but I didn't expect any next-gen news.

Last year was so god-awful they had nowhere to go but up. Still managed to suck though. I didn't expect next gen news, but come on already!

Im not a massive halo fan to be honest and would be fairly worried if a Southpark game was one of the highlights lol

Splintercell looked cool but nothing really new.

Would be criminal if GTA wasn't shown!!
