The implications and possibilities of NATAL are really amazing and if MS can get it running without too much hassle it'll be the standard that the other companies will adhere to whether you specifically will use it or not. The style of gameplay is the stuff of Sci-Fi movies not to mention the possibilities of the MILO tech once that is up and running. Of all the three, Microsoft gave me the most to look forward to in terms of cutting edge tech.

I agree. But in terms of exclusive I think Sony had the edge, though I'm most looking forward to the Multi-platform games like AC2 and MW2.

As someone mentioned earlier in the thread, not everyone has the room for, or the desire to be jumping around for this. It just seems to me like this is something that hopes to be more grand than what it really will be, the thought of it is cool, but when it comes down to it would rarely be used.

which is fine but from a pure technology view...360 had the edge in motion control

Honestly whether people personally are all "I don't want to get around and jump around the room" it isn't going to stop progress. One of the niche things about the Wii was the motion technology, XBOX seems to have done it better with the eventual NATAL and ask anyone who owns a Wii, you sit and do as little as possible to get the character to do what you need. All of that leaping around and moving hard gets old real quick. With fighting games you might have to get up and move to be really taking advantage but there isn't anything stopping it from being a lean forward to move forward or lean backwards to stop and with first person shooters, etc that'd be the only real movement other than mimicking the pulling of a trigger.

If MS can make NATAL affordable enough for people to get at launch, it'll seriously put them ahead of everyone else by a mile. If Motion Tech wasn't catching on would all three big game companies be introducing it in some form or fashion and would Wii be trying to improve it? Sign of the times, refusal to adapt leaves you out in the cold.

About motion technology, very important is game support.SONY's proposition has already a Spring '10 release date and I believe it will be easier to implement in SONY games, because of its nature and because Sony has more studios with existing franchises working for her.It would be easier to use that in future Ratchet and Clank games, in future Killzone, Resistance, future god of war-style of games. And it is a closer experience to the way everyone plays today. Imagine an FPS where you hold the dildo-controler and a NATAL one where you are holding air basically. Also it being very close design-wise to wiimote may be more easy for third party companies to make games that implement it.Only time will tell...

WOW !! that was one hell of a PS3 conf !

so many amazing titles.

The last guardian blew my mind away.
I am pumped for all the gaming comming for PS3 !!!!
ohh yeaaa !! and MGS PSP game looks awsome !

new mgs doesn't excite you?

and 2 new halo games?

As long as the new MGS doesn't have more cutscenes than gameplay and the Halo's campaigns last a lot longer than 5 hours each then I will be interested and the MP better be damn intriguing for all 3.

Anybody that thinks the Motion capture controller for PS3 was like the Wii really was not listening to the Demo.
I have to say that Natal was only thing that made my Jaw drop.
Xbox put on a great show and was by far the best. How can you top Paul and Ringo and Spielberg.

The New Metroid Game screens are up:
