Damn that was a great game. Good to see them back in form. I think Detroit is going to make some waves this year, as the were hard to stop on Offence and given more time then would have done some damage but giving up 42 points at the half is demoralizing.

I was enjoying it. :D

Looking good. Loved those throw-back uniforms. I bleed Eagles green but I really thought they have some style.
Went down to South Street after the game and those new jerseys were everywhere.

First off, those were the most disgusting unis I've ever sceen. We were all making fun of how stupid they looked at the Raven's game.

I'm glad you guys are so confident after a win over the LIONS :rotfl

Hey, my team is the Colts, so i'm very confident actually.

My wife's team is the Eagles, which is my second team (appropriately).

...and the Lions were 2-0, and Kitna is a better QB than anybody on your roster ;)

I was about to take you seriously until that comment. We saw a lot of 2-0 teams that had beaten up on really bad teams lose this week, the Lions being one of them. They are by no means a good team, though that was an impressive win.

The Colts have a good team, but are still overrated. Barring an injury to Brady or a few other studs, no one is going to beat the Pats this year.

I didn't say the Lions were good, I said that they were 2-0 and Kitna is better than any B'more QB.

And the Pats?? Cheating their way to victory for how long? Coach should've been fired.

The signature of the Philadelphia Eagles is that on a good day they could probably beat any team in the NFL. Unfortunately they are so inconsistent they could lose to any team in the NFL as well.

One thing I have learned over the years is never take sports too seriously.

I have been a diehard Redskins, Capitals, Michigan and Red Sox fan for most of my life. I have broken remote controls, throw tempers, gotten in fights and several other things over the years. After all of that guess what I learned? My team still won or lost and my actions had NO effect at all on that outcome and then I still had a broken remote or a sore fist.

Second, fans are NOT members of the team so this whole "we" won thing should not be used. "We" is the team. I am fan of the team and not a member.

Many fans take sports as some sort of personal thing they have some control over. You have no control so we should all learn not to take it so personally and go off the deep end. Every season there can be ONE winner and a whole lot of losers which means more often then not you're going to have to learn to accept that your favorite team lost.

I had to take a long hard look at myself when I was acting like an idiot over events that I had no control over. I still love sports and I cheer and yell and hope for the best, but in the end it's still just a GAME to be enjoyed.

I still haven't grown up yet. :lol :rotfl :rotfl:lol

Took me into my early 30's. The last temper I threw I just kind of stood back and said "What am I doing? This isn't worth it." I still really get into the games and root as hard as ever, but getting pissy and being an idiot when my team lost is what had to stop.

The Redskins GAVE away the game to the Giants yesterday. I feel a lot better just shaking my head and changing the channel when it's over then I do by throwing a remote and acting like a 10 year old.

I don't break stuff anymore. I do swear and scream and rant and rave. Last year we had to go out to a bar and that was kind of interesting. For some reason they didn't televise the game. They had a big play and I jumped straight up out of my seat and threw my hands up in celebration. There was a flash and everyone was like what the hell was that. I soon realised. LOL! I just smashed my hand threw an overhead light. Luckily no one at the bar noticed and I stayed to finish the game. :monkey3
