That's always a good place to fall back on if there are no other better local hang outs.

In Northern Virginia, Maryland there are no local hangouts haha. At least not for me. Well, down the street there is a local sports bar with some cool setups, but that's about it.

I can see you guys sitting at outback drinking together. Before the nite is over they will be a foodfight.:lol

Actually Outback is about the only chain that isn't in Laurel right now. The nearest one's about 25 mins away and I don't think we want to do that. I think we have a Lonestar and a couple other places that are similar. I love BBQ, so I'd vote for Famous Dave's.

ooooo Famous Dave's kicks ass. I could see ourselves getting in trouble in there :lol I'd be down for FD.

You said we can come over early right Loki? I will probably take that Friday off, b/c theres no way I can work then make it there in time for dinner with all the traffic that goes on.

I plan on doing the same unless anyone needs picked up at the airport. I would advise anyone flying in to try their best to get an early flight in on Friday if you can. If not it's cool. But traffic around that area is crazy!

Yeah traffic getting out of Arlington (where I live) to get to Loki's will be hell on Friday. It's always hell. Gotta take 395 through D.C., then get to Loki's with the parkway.

How long ago? DC area is now 3rd worst in the nation. LA is THE worst, but DC is tied for 3rd.

Couple years ago, but nothing tops L.A.

The big difference is that traffic most every where else is bad for 20-30 miles but then its ok. L.A. you can be in dead stop traffic for 70+ miles in some directions. For me to drive to one of my sites thats 80 miles away it takes close to 3 hours assuming there is no accidents.

I hear you dude and I know LA is far and away the worst there is, but we have our fair share of traffic here. It can be a flat out mess during rush hour or even on weekends on the beltway around the city.

I live 34 miles from work. If I waited until 5pm to leave work I would get home at 7:00pm at best. The traffic is so bad now, not because of the city itself, but how much the 'burbs have grown around the city. There are TONS of people traveling into the city area in the moring and TONS of people leaving the city area in the afternoon.

Again, I know LA is the worst in the nation, but we do know what traffic is at # 3.

No biggie. It bothers me not. For some reason watching people smoke in movies is what gets me. Not in person. In person I can smell it.

Man that's what made me smoke again. Watching all those movies with people smoking was really the thing that pushed me back :monkey2

And just so you know Loki....you're not a cool street guy. You don't have a "crib". You have a home.
