Been reading this thread and i agree with ebay taking down the preorders but what i dont like is when your a month away from the release date and ppl bump the prices up to stupid amounts and expect you to pay just because there wasnt a pre order( because pre order prices are usually cheaper). I emailed Action HQ.com and asked if there gettin preorders for the new dark knight figure and they emailed bck saying they have the preorder up BUT there going to bump the price up in a week or so...i think it was about $20-30 more...its like WTF for ??? why put the price up when the damn item isnt ready in hand...urghhhhhh pisses me off !!!! P.S. does anyone reading this know a good reliable website where i can preorder the MJ figure before the prices start going up ?? Am in the UK which doesnt help with shipping -__- !!!

GOOD! Its about time eBay stepped up and began following its own policies.

There are probably 10,000 things listed on ebay right now that won't be out in a month.. they must be picking on this one just because its Jackson.

salut WG! Et bienvenue!

Yes, price is often a problem, still, Ebay can be a dangerous place! If at all possible, I prefer going through SCC. If not, well, I have a few trustworthy retailers, both in Europe or the USA!

It's not dangerous if you follow the rules. If you pre-ordered and
paid for any item with an eBay vender and it's getting close to the
30 days, make a dispute on the 29th day. That way you're are covered
everytime if they are a regular vendor on eBay.

Also, think it through and examine the venders ebay history.
If you do a pre-order from a vender on eBay that has a very
low amount of feedback or lots negative feedback, then you're
asking for it. There are plenty of venders on eBay that do pre-orders
they have 1000's of good transactions with high feedback ratings.
Stay away from venders on eBay that have a % less than 97%
and take some time to actually read through a bunch of their feedback
before you buy from anyone. It's just common sense.

I've gotten some of my best deals on pre-orders from ebay venders
and hope that trend continues.

why preorder from ebay. so your not preordering from bigbadtoystore and the michael jackson is close to $300 dollars compared to where i preordered the thriller peice and iam paying exactly $200 dollars.so sometimes it's a very good idea..
