What's wrong with eBay buyers? They buy,get the item and don't leave a + feedback, even after PM them requesting one if satisfied with the product.:banghead

Out of my last 5 sales only 1 buyer has bothered to leave feedback.. even after I left + for all of them. I have enough so it really doesn't hurt but it still sucks.

I leave feedback for everyone, but I usually wait every 3 weeks and then do it all at once. That really seems to bother some people to.

I rather get no feedback than get negative feedback from some ahole because they didn't get their item within a week after they paid for it. They also lied in the feedback saying I waited two weeks before shipping the item out. This happened to me recently. It's the only negative I've had in 5 years on ebay. Of course ebay won't change it even if they're wrong. Thank you, ebay.

I always ship on the same day ( If possible ) but always the next day with delivery confirmation. Also put in the pack a note saying.

"We strive for 5 Star feedback

When you get this item, please make sure
everything is satisfactory. If it is then a positive feedback
would be greatly appreciate. If NOT PLEASE contact me first
so we can try to remedy the issue."

I was going to say the same thing. Only my case was even worse. The buyer got his figures (3 of 'em, combined in a single box so I could save him $26 on shipping) in FOUR DAYS from the end of the auction, and he still left me a negative, accusing me of not combining the shipping. I reported it to eBay, and their pathetic response was that they had no way to prove that the buyer was being untruthful. NO WAY TO PROVE IT??!? How about looking at my paypal activity, where there was a record of a refund transaction??

The buyer paid before I even had a chance to send a combined invoice, so I had to refund the difference. But the record of it is all right there in front of them and they still won't erase the feedback.

BTW, you all might want to add cbernal1992 to your blocked bidder list, unless you want to risk the same thing happening to you. I'm not the only one he has done this to.

I sent out a higher dollar item a few months ago, around 700.00. I had signature confirmation, so I know it arrived. Buyer never left feedback, so I sent him a message, just to make sure item arrived and was not damaged. He could not even be bothered to get back to me. Still no feedback and no return message. I understand on cheaper items, but on more expensive stuff it really bothers me that the buyer does not let the seller know it was received. These are the same buyers that will message you in .0001 seconds if there is a problem. :duh

The buyer went as far as to file a PayPal claim against me two days after they received the item. I provided PayPal with the tracking info and they closed the case the same day. But I'm still stuck with a negative for the next year.

Batty, can you still leave a comment on it? If you can, I certainly would.

I buy way more than sell. If the seller doesn't leave me feedback
after receiving payment I dont leave them feedback when I
recieve the item. I personaly think that is very fair and all sellers
should leave feedback after receiving payment.
Those who wait to see what feedback they will get first kinda'
tick me off.

That may tick you off, but when you consider that sellers have no option to leave a negative for buyers any more, there is little else we can do. I don't leave any feedback until the transaction is completed, and I know the buyer has the item.

If you think sellers who don't leave immediate feedback tick you off, imagine how much it ticks me off when a buyer gets a great deal, fast shipping, and extra care in packaging, but still leaves a negative. THAT ticks me off, and that buyer ain't getting ANY feedback from me (unless the system changes tomorrow so that I can leave him the negative that he deserves).

This is why I wish someone would come up with a good alternative to eBay. Maybe if they get some real competition, they change their ways.

Ebay needs to change so that neither person gets their feedback posted until both have left it. It won't fix everything but it might help a little.

Actually, feedback is very important for sellers. If a seller maintains high category ratings, they get a discount off of their final value fees.

It doesn't matter so much for buyers.

PayPal will sometimes withhold funds for 30 days (or is it more?) until a positive feedback is posted. That's why it's important.

When does PayPal release payment holds?
Payments will be held in a pending balance for a certain time period. For example, if you receive a $100 payment (after fees), the $100 will be held in a pending balance for that amount of time. After then, the money will be available for withdrawal.

The money may be released sooner if:

We can confirm that the item was delivered
Your buyer leaves positive feedback. (Applies only to eBay items.)
To get access to this money more quickly, please process this order right away and communicate with your customers early and often.
