Ohhh I see, when it comes to ebola there is little to worry about if you live in Australia. Yeah people living in affected areas in Africa have it much worse, and I know a lot of people are taking big risks to help them.

I have a friend that finished medical school last year... so yeah I'm a bit worried about him, I wouldn'twant him to get infected but its too soon to worry about that I guess. Hopefully this problem will be completely solved in a couple of months

Yeah, don't get me wrong - if I was living in one of the hotspots I'd be scared s**tless.

btw I hope the healthcare workers don't break protocol ever again... now they know what happens if they do

I'm sure protocol will be broken many times, again and again. People like to be the hero and sometimes couldn't care less about themselves or others in the heat of the moment. The Western countries will continue to send aid over to Africa, nurses and doctors will continue to travel to and from their respective countries. The proof is there already that people slip through the net. The only way to truly stop the spread would be a complete lock down which is impossible on a global scale these days.

(Rubs eyes. Blinks. Rubs eyes again. Blinks again.) This might be the most sensible thing I've ever read here. Kudos.

Ebola in Ohio possibly from that nurse. I heard a bunch of schools closed.

I dare you to come to Pittsburgh ebola, I'll eat you.

Yes that's true.
During the last Great Plague there was one town in England,( I cant remember it now, probably can Google it), that decided to contain the plague within the town, so no one came in & no one went out. Ultimately this self sacrifice stopped the plague in its tracks & halted the spread to the next town then the next etc.

Obviously in this day and age it would be very hard to contain and infection disease, being with how the world has shrunk, metaphorically speaking.
