I absolutely cherish the fact that doctors are the ones putting the rest of the population at risk now. First Nancy Snyderman, now this Craig Spencer dude.

Right at this very moment, all of New York, nay the world, is hoping Dr Spencer is a pocket-protected pencil-pushing Poindexter.

all it takes is just bout 6 to a dozen unknown ebola infected people and we've lost control. we gonna keep tracking peep? hospital will be overwhelm fast.

Still a waste of money. Would have been much simpler to just keep it out.

How do you just keep it out? I don't think it's that simple.

I understand someone has to pay for the research, but if it's still present and killing people I wouldn't call it a waste of money necessarily. Virus and deaths aside, the instability is cause for concern with effects not yet realized. There's always the moral question too.

You don't allow flights into the country from West Africa. And if that is too complex, you don't let them out.

And what is the 'moral question'? :dunno

There's news of the first Ebola case hitting NYC now :lol. There needs to be more intensive screenings done on people returning from West Africa.

This is what you get with worthless bureaucracies, not a single competent professional among them. They're all a bunch of status jockeys.

The latest thing I read was that the CDC intends to 'monitor' people for 21 days as they wander around.

I think the CDC is trolling us.

Totally sounds like an experiment, I've done that with lab rats a thousand times :lol

The CDC is doing nothing because its all " part of the plan..."

....stupid CDC
