And it begins......

The production of Quinns has started. First mods and first wave of weathering is done.....plus
the DX style stands.

Still a long way to go...but now the wheels are turning.

That Quinn is looking great, the jacket looks perfect, cant wait to see them weathered up.

I'd say it's not spot on and you're intitled to your opinion..but this side by side really shows how close they are.

Definitely the cheeks could have been a little more defined and the hair and the eye's are not exact,
but there is no denying a likeness is there.

I'll say this: it is the best Quinn sculpt available.

The side by side looks good. I love your work, I wouldn't bash it to troll.

Definitely a beautiful figure. You ever thought of sculpting some hair on a B. Wayne sculpt?

Well how about a blue filter...like the whole movie was shot in...well perhaps it wasn't really this blue.....

Though it's a little hard to see all the weathering. But I'll take some shots tomorrow in natural sunlight.
That should show the Quinn figures with much more detail.

Along with a special edition Quinn, there will be this guy.

Still waiting on the painted head with real beard to come back. Right now the unpainted VZ placeholder will
have to do.

What do you think??


Also: Would you rather see a SE Quinn on his horse with maybe a Dragon head behind him
or SE Quinn next to a burned out car pointing his bow at a Dragon head?

The horse one would tie into the SE Van Zan more. So it would make a good
set. The other would have a larger Bull Dragon head and be more of a stand alone.

A big thanks to everyone who made this figure possible.
Dean, Jacob and Natchan, I couldn't have done it without you.

Here's a few pictures.

Here's Quinns knife...and yes he had one even if you only see it for milliseconds.

These Quinn's are made to go with the Van Zan's and are based on the first time they met.
Where Van Zan holds up the Dragon Tooth and starts his story. One of the better scenes in the film.

Hope you like them as much as I've enjoyed making them.

It actually looks even better in-hand. You lose a lot of the subtle weathering in a light box.
I always ask the people who get a figure from me, to post pictures when they can.
I like how different camera's and how people view the figure comes across in the photo's they take.
Give's you a prespective that you might not have seen yourself.

i have a bunch of ike's figures,,,, all 3 eli, now both van, and quinn.....no idea why collectors arent lining up for both of those movie's figures.....?? i cant complain i got em, and very happy with them...

This figure was always something I wanted to revisit and improve on from the original.
I wanted to give the Van Zan owners and myself something that would really bring alive
the scene where Quinn & Van Zan first met. And I'm really glad I did.
I'm loving this figure more and more everytime I look at it.

And yes, maybe it was too long between the 2 figures, but that's okay.
This time I was able to make the figures first without any deposits or people
having to wait months to get it.
Sure, more out of pocket cost for me, but ultimately a better way of doing things.
If they all sell or don't, I'm still very proud of the new Quinn figure.

I will post some pictures of Quinn and Van Zan together. I know a good visual is
worth a 1000 words. Maybe that will light a fire...no pun intended...

I couldn't help it, I had to take some quick pics of Quinn on his horse.
Of course I will be painting and adding some white fur patches on his
snout, chest and feet.

And then the moon lit ride back with fire in the distance reflecting in the horse's eyes.
