All right guys.... even though the slim true type neck helps out with the giraffe neck syndrome, I still was not satisfied with the lenght. I wanted PERFECTION... I mean, I already spent some good $$ for the figure and Jack's magnificent head sculpt and I wasn't going to conform to having that long neck. Anyway, I did my famous neck mod :)lol) I had done to the DX Batman for myself and other members here and it worked just as good on Edward. NO cutting of the suit was necessary. All original parts are untouched and all the work was done on the slim true type neck. Here are a couple of pictures of before and after so you can see the difference:

I just realized it even looks more like J. Depp with the shorter neck!

I'll post some pictures tomorrow night of what I did, for those unfamiliar with my neck mod.

The neck was the reason I didn't get this. If it had been presented this way in the first place I would have ordered one...

I'm sick about it. :sick

Shame since things like body mods are always fixable Johnny depp likenesses? Not so much.

Always just go for it. That's my motto! Didn't think tje neck looked bad on the slim but have so many spare necksigjt as well try the mod

thanks fellas :) these pics don't really do it justice though. i really love the hair. and the neck doesn't seem bad at all in person.

sorry you have to let yours go, snake. but knowing you, i'm sure it's all for a good cause ;)

All right friends, here's the neck mod. It's a much simpler procedure than that of the Batman Deluxe neck mod I've done for others, so you should be fine (if not, call 1-800-Comm-NKmod. K/D:lol)
I'm using mostly pictures instead of words:

With a pair of long nose pliers split up the neck in 2. As you open the pliers the neck should split. Don't be afraid to use force. I've opened more than 20 necks and they all split evenly into two parts (no guarantees though:D)

dremmel or shave the first level or ridge on both halves that limits how deep the joint socket goes into the neck (get rid of those 2 small circular rods too):

Put back the socket joint. Glue both halves with a little crazy glue on the inside edges. You can now see it rests deeper inside the neck. This will make the whole neck go deeper between the shoulders and into the TT body, therefore making it shorter.

I hope Xenoviper is ok with me posting this here.

One more thing: Regular TT necks will seem shorter than the slim neck, but regular necks or narrow necks don't work because the neck collar and neck brace on Ed's suit don't fit together on it. They are also very difficult to split apart with the long nose pliers.
