Motorized face plate is gona result in a ridiculous price or cheap servos that will burn out or break. Or both.

That definitely seems possible. I'm keeping my fingers crossed and hoping part of the delay in getting the motor working right, is making sure it stands up to use over time.

^Is that surprising? I would love the hammer but I know not to realistically expect it for at least a year. Hopefully I'm wrong though.

My post is directed to DFanatic just for clarification...

Thor's helmet price is up on their site.

$699 w/ $200 non refundable deposit when ordering. It looks cool but is too much for me for something with like 30 seconds of screen time.

eFX is proud to introduce our replica of the live-action interpretation of Thor's iconic "winged" helmet. Our helmet is made from the original master patterns made by Ironhead for the film.

Even though this helmet is only seen for a few seconds at the beginning of the film, it is an incredibly impressive and beautiful prop and would be the centerpiece of any MARVEL collection. (it will also complement our replica of Thor's Mjolnir!)

Wow, that's very expensive if you ask me. If that's how much they are charging for Thor's helmet, get ready to drop over $1000 dollars on Iron Man's helmet. Not gonna lie, I was hoping and waiting for the cost to be half of that. My plan was to own all of this, now I don't think I'll even have one. :slap :monkey2

I also ordered the I want you to buy war bonds poster from BBTS,I'm now awaiting the vintage trading cards :yess: which I thought were coming out today but I guess not :dunno

eFX is proud to introduce our replica of the live-action interpretation of Thor's iconic mjolnir. Our hammer is made from the original master patterns and molds made by Studio Art And Technology for the film.

This replica is different than the on seen in MARVEL Studios' Thor movie. it is an incredibly impressive and beautiful prop and would be the centerpiece of any MARVEL collection. (it will also complement our replica of Thor's Helmet!)

Captain America Trading Cards set page is up as well.

https://www.efxcollectibles.com/p-184-agent-coulsons-vintage-captain-america-trading-cards.aspx

- MSRP: $40 (Plus Shipping/Handling)
- 2 Complete sets of cards, "Near Mint" as Agent Coulson would brag and the Blood stained set that Nick Fury used to encourage the Avengers to unite!
- Printed from the original digital files supplied by MARVEL Studios
- Presentation booklet
- Prop Story
- Certificate of Authenticity
- PRINTED IN THE USA!

Agent Phil Coulson took pride in his complete set of Captain America trading cards. It took him years to collect and now that Steve Rogers has been woken from the ice, he was hoping to get them signed. As Coulson loved to tout "They're vintage and near mint."
Nick Fury uses the blood stained cards to give the Avengers "a little push" to assemble.

Natrix, you the man! Thanks for the updates! Ok, so regarding the hammer: It's looking great. Price is not that bad either I'll probably "bite". Release on January 1st? I find that a little hard to believe though, considering their track record. I'm afraid to order this and it's the "Tie Fighter" all over again. Can we get this somewhere else without the NRD?

Trading cards: At first I was gonna pass on this. I thought it was kind of dumb and pointless. Couldn't think of a way to display it but for $40 bucks I might get it, frame one of the sets and display it behind the HT Coulson figure once it arrives. Who here is getting the trading cards and what are you doing with it?

JAN release date is pretty soon but maybe that's why it has taken this long for an update. Efx was getting all their ducks in a row so that they could get a smooth release.

Nicer time than any for them to start sticking to their own release schedule but I won't be holding my breathe yet. Bring on the shield already though.
