Yeah I can't even look at these booth pictures. Half the stuff isn't even out or close to available. Seems like they have a lot of time to make booths and promote their business, but not a whole lot of time allocated in fulfilling delayed products or customer service.

This is the most frustrating thing about eFX. Each product takes a few years to develop and deliver. You will seriously wait 10+ years just to get a few products of theirs.

EFX at SDCC and some Scout pics...

I reckon we'll see the 1/6 HT Millennium Falcon for sale before these things see the light of day :)

How's that Star Destroyer coming along eFX? :slap

Those displays is where your money gets put. Not with the product. EFX is the worst company in this hobby, and shame on them for treating paying customers the way they do.

tbh they didn't really use much money on those displays ;p most of them aren't even theirs just borrowed

Your probably right.....(rolling eyes) Must be Gino's........ I guess that's where your money goes......lol.

Of course it's thier stuff they don't borrow anything. It's thier prototypes.

Oh yeah and efx still sucks!

Star destroyer? What star destroyer? What.....Where am I? Nothing to see here move along, move along.

They announced a Star Destroyer Studio Scale a few years back (when they first introduced the full Stormtrooper suit) that was going to be 4 feet long. All they showed was the bridge. Typical.

Biggest ******s ever put on this earth.

Nah EFX borrows a lot of their stuff, the trooper busts prob not. The R2D2 was just from someone on the builders forums, the y-wing, at-st etc are all Steve from NiceN's etc.

Yeah I remember haha, I was just being sarcastic. About 12 months ago I posted a list of projects supposedly in development and I still stand by my predictions that 90% of the stuff they have shown in the last 5 years will never see the light of day.

There with you on that one :hi5:

I guessed you might have been sarcastic, but I thought (just in case you weren't) I'd let you join the rest of us in "crumbling hope land." :)

BTW: what the hell is happening with that Stormtrooper suit; it wasn't a WIP, it was displayed complete from the very beginning?

God, they're shockers :slap

I just got an update email from EFX on the helmets.

We just wanted give you an update on the Biker Scout helmets. As we had told many of you, we have resolved the problem with the pivot pin that I had described in our last update. We were really relieved that to resolve the problem we did not have to make any concessions on the geometry of the original helmet!

As you can see in the pictures below, we are in full production of the helmets. We are working closely with the factory to complete these as soon as possible.

Barring any further "unexpected challenges" we are anticipating to be able to start to ship soon!

Thanks for your continued patience and really appreciate your understanding!

Had to cancel my preorder. At one point I could justify the purchase, but honestly I could get an accurate well-made helmet made for me or buy the eventual Avovos version or half the price.

Had mine ordered directly from eFX as well on the first day. I didn't, even on that day, think they would make their target shipping date. Vader was delayed a very long time, but we had regular updates. So, I was expecting the same with this. We got the delays, which I expected, but we're missing the regular updates.
Thankfully, now, it finally appears to be in full production. I'm now wondering which will arrive first, my eFX or my RS.

I thought I'd be more enthusiastic about this announcement from EFX. I'm not. Recently I got one of the last big and rare prop blasters I wanted for a long time (a superb MGC ROTJ Stormtrooper blaster) and thus that section of collecting is almost closed, and that makes me VERY happy. EFX doesn't make me too happy anymore, except when I look at the TIE Fighter in my cabinet and realize how cool it is. Vader Legend is cool too, but not as cool as it could have been. I have a hunch the EFX Scout will be just the same: cool like the Vader helmet, but not like the TIE Fighter.

I find that I'm excited to be finally getting this, not because it'll be arriving (I know that'll change), but because I'll finally be done with this whole fiasco.
