I don't really see it as a movie either. I mean, it'd be just in name alone. There aren't really any original concepts or characters that would really make it anything but a generic medieval movie with Skyrim's name tacked on it.

I hate it when they make movies based on games that don't really have much to do with the game itself except in the title. At least with movies like Super Mario Bros., Hitman, and Street Fighter they had actual characters to use. Still didn't make them very good movies but if the game doesn't have a stand out character or characters to use in the film and make it actually look like the game, it only ends up being a cash grab to make money off of a game's fame because of the title in my opinion.

Good points, a game like Half Life would be a far superior candidate...

Riiiiight, because there is no story??? Elder Scroll games have a pretty deep story, you may have noticed the thousands of NPC discussions, books, inscriptions, etc? Besides they made a movie on Mario Brothers :cuckoo:, a Skyrim movie would rock...

How can you have a main character? :dunno

Hmmm I have to disagree. The main character in these games isn't a central person. The main character is the world itself. I see no reason why it wouldn't work if done right. Imagine what Peter Jackson could bring to life if given the opportunity. The problem would be finding the right people for the job.

Main Character would be Sven Kurganyrn...

How would this be able to distinguish itself from every other JRR Tolkien inspired fantasy story?

Half Life is my holy grail of game into movie adaptation. But part of me would never want it done because it prolly wouldn't be done right. Then Fallout, cause that has the second greatest story out of any game. HL being #1. :)

It would be the same format as Game of Thrones TV series, there is no one central character. It could easily be done.

Long story short, I told my companion to wait somewhere and now Ive forgotten where. Can I just grab a new one or am I hosed until I find her?

Just read that you can use bow and arrow to distract or redirect unsuspecting enemies.
Shoot an arrow while in stealth and they'll go in that direction to see what made the noise.

Yes sir! Been using that. IMO the most powerful play style is max stealth and max bow stats. I almost feel bad for the enemies. :nana:

How does that work against dragons and trolls?

Put it this way. All I have to do is crouch and I get 3x damage on enemies as long as I'm hidden. For the most part I can hide in daylight. I also have a very high critical hit chance. I haven't casted a spell nor used a shout. I have taken down 6 dragons. 4 alone.

Yeah but have you killed anything on a higher difficulty setting than novice?

I kid the Badmoon.
