To busy gawking at her cleavage to pay attention to her opinion, she did talk right?

J/k she 's partially right but the game is better or worse depending on the players rpg mindset. NPC s are annoying, some textures are bad etc.
I think you should play your other games and wait for more patches and some DLC to come out, Skyrim isn't going anywhere.

Making it so you cannot buy ore or ingots would make it a lot more fair I think. If you had to mine everything, only the really dedicated people would max out their smithing.

True. Mining would be the only fair way to do it.

But how many times would you actually need to Smith something? You only need a few sets of armor and a few weapons. That's only a few levels of Smithing. I think it is a wasted skill tree as far as needing to use it over and over goes. Same with Enhcanting. Only real way to use it and get it up to level 100 is power leveling IMO.

after playing for a few days glitch free, finally got my first backwards flying dragon - funny thing was: there was a perfectly normal flying one in the same area

Definitely one of the funnier glitches I've seen

You're lucky. Mine was fine after the patch but then yesterday wouldn't stop freezing after every 30 minutes. Gets very annoying.

yeah l think the really screwed up on the smithing. I hate it because like you said you don't need to do lots of smithing, pic your few fav weapons and armor. l hate that you need a level 60 in smithing to upgrade enchanted armor and weapons so l really don't use enchanted weapons or amror because l cant upgrade them, but it really pisses me off they did that. my smithing skill is only like 30.

Guys, sorry to burst into this thread like this, but as a huge Skyrim fan I'm thinking of getting a 1/6 Dovahkiin figure made. And I thought that some of you might be interested too.

I've contacted somebody who is willing to make a 1/6 scale version of the head/helmet etc. I've asked him just now about the price;probably won't be that cheap, so I was hoping more people would be interested in a custom Skyrim figure as well to keep costs down....

Anyone interested? :wave

I've contacted the guy who was commissioned by Bethesda to make a lifesize and 1/3 scale model of the Dovahkiin. Check it out here:

I would be interested if I had the extra money when the time comes. How far away do you think?

She is right in a lot of points actually. I highly disagree when she says the graphics suck, they are very good on my 360. l agree characters have no personality, and each mision is usually the same thing over and over.

She didn't make much sense when she said " this game is very addictive but doesn't deserve game of the year", well game of the year should be addictive.

I think they did screw up in a handful of areas on this game as well. one thing l wish they had in the missions section was the title of the mission, like what it is for. whether this mission is for the theives guild, or the companions or what ever so l know where that mission came from. When you have lots you forget where they came from and what the stroy line for that mission is.

Thats why for her it was a confusing review lol It is addicting, yet when she plays she asks herself why is she still playing and playing it lol
And not that the graphics suck, but in my opinion too, the close up textures or facial animations are not that great, at least compared to other games.

I'm definitely interested...depending on the cost! I'd love to have a custom 1/6 scale figure of the main character! I got a great one for John Marston from Red Dead Redemption co-made by Sunohc (head sculpt), Stevostoys (leather hand-made belts, straps, holsters, guns), and Evilface (custom figure stand name decal and stand decal).

Anyway...count me interested for right now...:wave

Ok, I did experience 2 freezes yesterday and 1 today - ended up turning off automatic saves, and has yet to happen since....dunno....it was annoying cause it hadnt happened - didnt meantion it as a glitch, but should have

As for the game graphics, its hit and miss: the landscapes and environment look downright pretty at times, always decent others - the character models are pretty fugly - if I had one complaint, its in that area. Dont care so much about the humans, but the monsters look 'ok'

That said, game is fun as hell - no real complaints

So everyone what do you prefer Fallout 3 or this. I like the beauty of the destroyed buildings, the gore, the VATS system, machine guns and all that made for great gameplay in fallout.

I like the beauty of the land in this, like the mid evil times of this game. Like l said before l wish this game was more gory then it is. I think l actually prefer the world of Fallout to this. I hope there next game is Fallout 4.

Answer:
After playing 70+ hour in Elder Scrolls, I prefer a Fallout style setting

75 hours and the main quest is done.
As is the thieves guild, companions, brotherhood, and Stormcloaks
I own three houses including a sweet Dwarven one in Marketh.
Still only feel like my Nord barbarian hasn't seen half the game as well....

But tis time for a rest from the world of Tamriel for a few months I think.
Then I shall return as a High Elf pure mage and visit the mage college of Winterfell....

Farewell for now sweet Skyrim :)
