havent notice much just a few of the guys I killed stay flowting in mid air.
over all the game runs awsome on ps3.

so addicted to this game. are we expecting another patch anytime soon ?

Nope. They're sadly common. Racks and plaques bugged on mine as well.

I read on IGN's guide today that if you buy everything for the house all at one time then go to it, they work. And thinking back on this character I did that and they work (in both Markarth and Whiterun). Which, in Whiterun out of 6 or 7 characters they've only worked twice.

I can't get the dialogue option for Pantea to accept the flute, so now it's stuck in my inventory. I suppose a flute could be stuck in worse places.

Interesting, I did get upgrades piecemeal.

Whoa, I had been sick and busy all week and hadn't been able to play, but I finally got a chance to install the patch tonight and load it up and I instantly noticed that the graphics were improved. I installed this on my 360 as soon as I got it and wasn't aware with the issue of installing, but apparently that led to a graphics issue. I thought the graphics looked great before, but now I'm really impressed.

It could be just because I haven't played in almost a week, but I loaded up in the northern region with the snow swirling, and the glaciers, and the water and it looked beautiful. Definitely looked better to me, and apparently the patch did fix the problem with downgraded textures after installing on your hard drive. Your mileage may very though.

In an blog post published today, Bethesda says it will release an incremental update sometime next week that will address many of the issues that popped up after patch v1.2 released earlier this week.

"We anticipate it will be up on PC first, and then hit PS3 and Xbox 360 later in the week," the developer says. "Among other things, the update will fix issues like magic resistance not calculating properly and the rare, amazing backwards flying dragon. Once the update is released, we’ll share the full release notes."

Additionally, Bethesda says it will continue to release regular updates for the game after the holidays, including full title updates and incremental “gameplay updates” to fix exploits and balancing issues.

"We plan on having a lot of these, not just a few. Overall, you should expect updates to be hitting the PC and Steam earlier and more often, as that’s a process we control. Console updates will follow, as they must be certified and processed by those manufacturers."

The company promises it will take better care when releasing game updates in the future.

"We all know this is a huge game, and everyone has a different experience. We’ll continue to do everything we can to make the game better and better for as many people as possible every day. We’ve also realized that with the millions upon millions of people playing Skyrim, we need to treat our updates with greater care. If we get too aggressive trying to fix a minor issue, we run a risk of breaking something larger in a game like this.

"To be safe, we are prioritizing code side fixes right now over data fixes. Quest and balance issues are usually data, and those will start rolling in a large way with the January updates."

Bethesda notes the Creation Kit mod tools will be available for PC players to download in early January. Steam Workshop has also been integrated into the Creation Kit, allowing you to upload your mod where users can then download and rate it.

Haven't played in over a week. Got home tonight, steam auto updated. Bam, now my game looks like absolute ____. Fiddled with the resolution and texture options and it still looks like ____. Was all good before the patch (about 80 hours of play).

What's the best way to maximize the stats from blacksmithing? I have a Daedric Sword that's currently sitting at 58 but I was chatting with my brother and he said he got his stats up to 150 or so. I haven't really messed with much in the way of enchanting and alchemy but do I need to put skill points into those to make the enchants and blacksmith potions stronger or is there something else I'm just missing entirely?

damn it...I really can't play this anymore until the issues are fixed. Taking a massive graphical hit destroys the "feel" of the game for me. Ironic that my game had 0 issues and very good graphics for the 80 hours that I have been playing pre patch 1.2.

Man, after renting this for a day, went out and purchased it. Came home, and clean the memory cache out of my 360 so as to not play with the patch. Went to load it, and said save based on 'later build' or something, so stuck with the patch

thats not a bug :slap :lol

But yeah, I haven't experienced one game freeze total and not a single bug on the 360 version so far, 70 hours in.
...and i'm pretty sure the game freeze was my Xbox protesting being used, as it is want to do.

Yup, that's not a bug. However ice spears that don't go away in you or your companions is an ongoing issue for some.

NO l mean when the arrows stick in you and don't disappear, that is a bug, you just have to get shot more then the will disappear (the ones that are stuck in you for a while.)

I'm going to be brace and DL the patch for the 360. I have been playing with it installed on my system since day one. Im interested in seeing the graphical differences.

I thought they stuck into you until you got shot or healed yourself? I wouldn't know as I play in first person.

Well if you go into third person sometimes you will see an arrow stuck in you and it wont go away no matter wht you do, save, heal yourself and so on. When this happens the only thing that makes them disappear is to get shot more. Sometmes l have to wonder and find someone to shoot me just so the other arrows will disappear. I don't play in third person (for fighting), but usually do for just wondering around.

I've had to stop playing on PS3 since 1.02. The main issues for me -

- Graphics Resolution being reduced, the game doesn't look that good anymore
- Dragon glitch, all dragons I encounter are the backward flying kind and can't be killed it seems

Also the magic resistance being gone is not game breaking, but still really annoying now that an adept conjurer can kill me in a few seconds with shock or fire spells.

Bethesda has great games, but after New Vegas and now this, I'm really going to think hard about buying another one of their games. Too many issues take the fun out of playing these games.
