hehe. lies. my brain never moves, I think it's dead.

/prods brain

there could be a crayon stuck in there...like Homer Simpson had, you could have it removed and be super smart but with no friends because you got everybody fired from the nuclear power plant

lies! I'm gonna pay and it's never gonna come I can see it now... sigh!

red/white/black custom.. someone dew it and post pics!!!!

Gimmie a chance to do some painting and try and get yet a 3rd EX and then you'll have your side by side comparison - with the katana's!

My 2nd EX is on it's way and she's gonna get the black costume treatment. Going by Greg Horn's artwork, her costume looks almost like an off-black colour. I know that he had to add highlights or it would have looked lifeless.

From a modelling perspective and to make black look in scale, sometimes you shouldn't paint things straight black, but rather use a really dark grey - just some tricks I've learned over the years building model's and figures.

I'm pretty certain that I'll be doing a white EX as well - the completist in me - LOL! I think seeing 3 of them displayed together would be awesome. I did try the sai's on mine when she arrived, but didn't turn my crank. I will convert the sai's as well to black and white - just so that I could have the ability to display them in the future.

That base definitely needs some going over as well - drybrushing means an almost dry brush - not slathered on paint, like it seems the factory did on the rock base. As well, the wood temple bits need to be properly washed and drybrushed to bring out the full texture detail.

Somebody also mentioned about the shoes having the split toes and it got me to thinking! Should I fill in the gap and make them like normal shoes? I've never seen Elektra with, as the reviewer mentions - Camel Toe shoes! Opinions on this would be appreciated, as I would be modifying the base and figure as well. No problem, as I'm re-painting her already. Again, Greg Horn shows only the full shoe, versus the split toe.

Even thought about changing the edition bottom plate to say 1 of 1 - just for kick's! Be pretty neat.

Can't wait - haven't been this excited about a figure in quite a while. Really looking forword to getting these converted. I'll definitely show you all when she's done.

Cheers, Carl

i woulk like to see the black costume.also, red tops white imo.the only thing that has made white wanted is the es

Just received my White Elektra. UPS came late today. Will post pics with Red EX once I have a camera available. I personally like the white better. There's not a lot of differences between the two. The only difference I see are the color shades of the base and less magnets.

I agree. I wonder what would have happened if they released both a white and black version without ES and see which one sold more.
